CHARGE – new album available for download on 18th February
Great news!
The new David Ford album, CHARGE, is available to pre-order on the
18th February 2013.
Check back here on the 18th for live links to pre-order the album, as well as interviews, videos, news and competitions surrounding the launch. It’s going to be a great launch.

* NEW USA RECORD DEAL FOR DAVID FORD *
Fabulous news; one of the biggest independent labels in N. America are about to sign a deal to market and distribute David Ford’s brand new album ‘CHARGE’ across the USA and Canada.
This explains why we had to suddenly stop taking ‘pre- orders’ of the album from fans in N.America last week; apologies to you all, but once the deal is signed you will be able to pre-order the album in both the USA and Canada from early March.
There will be more details about this exciting development for David Ford being sent out to you this coming week.

Number 3 on iTunes UK
Thanks to all of you who downloaded the album or pre-ordered it. Your support meant Ford hitting Number 3 on the iTunes 'singer-songwriter' Chart. Ford was blocked from the Number 1 spot by major label priorities Ben Howard and Jake Bugg; so given that Ford doesn't have a label or a budget hitting Number 3 is pretty amazing.
On the 'Main iTunes Chart' the album reached Number 43, so we can confidently say that its a 'Top 50' hit! :)
Please post your positive comments about the album on the 'CHARGE' iTunes page. Recommendations from 'fans' count for a lot in how much profile iTunes gives to an Artist.
Official UK Chart
With a successful iTunes launch now behind us, the task in hand for the rest of this week is to promote the CD and Vinyl versions of the album and hope we can get 'CHARGE' into the Top 100 Albums on the 'Official UK Album Chart'. This will be much harder, but that won't stop us from having a go!
