Model 1The Green School Project has become part of the environmental education in our school. However, there are a lot of problems in the school. Very often you come across an empty classroom with the lights still on. It’s not difficult to find evidence of wasting water, a very serious problem. Additionally, students do not recycle enough, throwing away the soft drink bottles, used exercise papers and books. Worse still, many students still don’t use the environment- friendly lunch boxes, causing “White Pollution”. These things show that many students still lack a sense of environmental awareness. It’s important to educate students to be more environmentally friendly. At the same time, students can do small things, such as collecting used items for recycling, turning off the lights and saving water. Always remember that it’s everyone’s responsibility to protect the environment.Model 2 Since the Green School Project was launched, much has been done to improve the situation of environmental protection in our school. Yet, it is still far from satisfactory. I regret to bring to your attention the facts that there still exists a waste of water and electricity, for some people take it for granted that these resources are inexhaustible. Meanwhile, many students lack the awareness of collecting recyclable articles such as bottles ,used text books and so on. Unfortunately, resources are in rather short supply and there is a growing need with the explosion of population. Then what should we do? First of all, we should lay emphasis on environmental education for students and stress the significance of the cause. In addition, students ought to be encouraged to form a good habit of saving resources. For instance, never leave a room with the lights on, and remember to collect the reusable for recycling. Rome was not built in one day, and as long as we are willing to make efforts, the future is promising. All in all, every individual has the responsibility to take care of our environment. My dear friends, please join us in the Green School Project. I hold the belief that constant dripping wears away the stone! Model 3 In active response to the Green School Project, I am here to discuss some problems in school and communicate some of my ideas about them. The waste of water and electricity is on top of the list. Very often can we see students leave taps running for hours and lights on all day. Another problem to follow is that used bottles and books are not properly disposed of or effectively recycled. On occasion empty water bottles can be seen rolling around in the corridors and on the playground. My solutions to these problems are that students should be environmentally-educated. They should be told not to destroy the otherwise beautiful nature and be taught the importance of energy saving. Also, we should begin the project with such everyday trifles as can hardly be noticed by many students, including turning off lights when leaving and recycling the waste. Without these, the project may turn into castles in the air. I hope sincerely that the Green School Project will turn out a great success, which will lead to the students’ better understanding of environmental protection and a better school environment.
