STOCKHOLM. On the Itunes list's place one, two and three are Darin with interpretations of his artist colleagues songs from "Så mycket bättre". On the singles chart, he may in itself beaten by house trio (SHM), but it might be a little comforting that he is at position 2, 3, 15 and 39. Darin Zanyar is undoubtedly this year's big star of TV 4 's viewing success.
— I myself was very satisfied with my interpretations. We didn't have so much time, but it felt nevertheless that we had gotten into my sound and done my thing full of songs. But I didn't know that it would go so well, I am incredibly pleased by that, "says Darin.
On Saturday dispatched part seven of the popular tv show. This is Darin's today and the conversation around the dinner table will be loaded when he talks about his parents escape from Iraq.
— It was very sensitive on my day. But it was probably a mixture of what I talked about, and that we were very tired, "says Darin.
In fact, it was the sense that Darin would have released a new album in 2012. Not just one, but two or three mini-album. But that never happend, instead comes a new album early next year.
— I was almost finished with the first EP and there were many awesome songs, but it was not right for me as an artist right now. I go by feel (gut feeling) and an album is something that will always be there so I trashed the album and started from scratch.
It is natural to suspect that the singer wanted to take advantage of the attention that guaranteed the artists in "Så mycket bättre".
— But I didn't know that I would be (included) in the program when I decided not to release the EP. Then perhaps it was quite good that the EP was not ready, it had probably collided with these songs, it will be perfect timing, he says.
The upcoming album with the title "Exit" has come to during an intense period in the United States and England. In one month Darin wrote 25 new songs with producers Jim Beanz (Britney Spears, Lil 'Kim, Rihanna) and Sacha Skarbek (Lana Del Rey, Adele, Jason Mraz). He describes the album with one, well-chosen words:
— It is a very cool album, cool songs. The lyrics were something I focused on much. It should feel personally.
