尽管作者的排名与观点被许多人非议，但上一周的最后两名恰恰是被淘汰的Cody和Dez。
也许是巧合但这里的排名还是值得参考一二的
开始作者先自满了一下。。

6) Terry McDermott-
I think this Scottish rocker just barely got saved. His Itunes sales aren’t great, and I’m afraid he’ll turn back into an 80′s rock cover singer next week. Blake sees a potential winner in Cassadee and all his energy and focus is going to her right now. I don’t think Terry will survive next week

5) Trevin Hunte- He scraped by this week after delivering a boring rendition of Greatest Love of All, and the previous week was Scream which had everyone predicting his elimination. He is routinely last in the Itunes sales, meaning he’s lost that support. Trevin’s support is dwindling, and another poor song choice and he could be gone. However, with the RIGHT song, Trevin will knock
#4 or #
3 out of the finale. Also working against him is his complete lack of stage presence. He can barely function on stage with choreography.

4) Melanie Martinez- She’s come a long way this season, but I still think she stands on shaky ground. She’s doing well on Itunes, and another week in the top 10 could save her. She can’t really do much more than sit and play guitar and do a slow song. I think Adam knows this, and isn’t going to screw her over, but now is not the time to change the pace and try something different.

3) Amanda Brown- Logic would say that she will be near the end (after opening this week), and that should help. I think she’s just not connecting with the right material, and Cassadee and Nicholas have been doing that for the past two weeks.

2) Nicholas David- The last two weeks have been excellent song choices for him. Even though he has no place in current mainstream pop radio, he’s doing quite well for himself. He even managed a Top 10 Itunes finish this week. He’s got forward momentum. I don’t think he can win. I think he and Melanie are both too niche to appeal to the mainstream vote.

2 ITunes to her name is really pushing her to the front of the pack. She’s got so much momentum the other acts can’t help but to get out of the way. If you had asked me at the beginning of this if Cassadee was going to win, I would have pointed to Amanda and Trevin and laughed at you. But now… how can she NOT win?

There's no way that Cassadee's advantage has quite worn off yet between having the final performance slot which statistically almost always bumps your vote count along with two consecutive weeks in the iTunes Top 10.

Nicholas remains in the finale along with Cassadee after his first appearance in the iTunes Top 10 bumping his votes up rather significantly, plus I think that he appeals a lot more to the audience who will vote by telephone than anyone else in the competition. He's my personal favorite, but I acknowledge that Melanie could sneak in there and take the second place spot from him.

Melanie has been constantly rearing to nab someone's spot in the finale and she might just do it if she continues to improve into the following week. She has shown the most improvement of anyone on the show this season, and TV viewers sure love their growth arcs. Plus, she's pretty appealing to those "indie" youths (like me lul) too, as two consecutive weeks in the iTunes Top 10 have proven to boost her download-based votes by a great margin. If she IS in the Top 10 of iTunes this coming week and Nicholas IS NOT, then I'd be willing to wager she takes his spot leading into the finale.

Amanda has an awesome voice, but her problem now is a perfect formula of things that will keep her from out of the finale. For the most part, I am not convinced that she has found her artistic identity. She's done mostly rock since the knockout rounds, but she'd auditioned with soul, and she'd worked her way through the battle rounds with soul, and she was going to do soul this week had Adam not improvised his twist. I think it's great when people embrace all sorts of genres, but that's for those with established careers or a YouTube channel who really can be permitted to experiment without any real idea of what'll come of it, because their fans who have been exposed to them for years will love them anyway (or no one cared to begin with). On an amateur TV reality show, contestants who do this just don't connect to the audience. I'm thinking bringing an edgier rock persona back is her best bet at maaayyybe edging into the finale, but it's a rough road ahead.

Terry just isn't proving to be as amazing as he could've been on the show, and in part, I think Blake has something to do with that since it's no secret that Cassadee is the one both he and TBTB are propping up to be the star of the whole shindig. His best bet at maybe being saved and causing an upset is singing another classic rock song that really works for his register, and maybe even risking going beyond that and really rocking hard. He has nothing to lose at this point and everything to gain.

Trevin, on the other hand, is a fantastic vocal talent, no one has ever doubted that, but between his serious misstep singing "Scream" by Usher which might've alienated part of his fan-base, and this week's song which was good, but not as great as what he has been capable of in the past, since we're now all holding him up to such amazing standards, I think he is the one who will definitely leave this coming week. The only way he's safe is if he gets the pimp spot AND the votes that come with that on top of breaking the iTunes Top 10, and at this point I just don't see either of those things happening for him. There's no way his vote total will be brought up to the what is Nicholas, Melanie, or Cassadee's total within a single week, and he hardly got any these past couple of weeks by comparison. His only chance beyond making some sort of miracle voting splurge for him is if Amanda sinks THAT badly this coming week, which I just don't see happening.
