喀麦隆坠毁肯尼亚航班确认无人生还 (Officials in Cameroon: No Survivors in Kenya Airways Crash) Officials in Cameroon say all 114 people aboard the Kenya Airways jet that crashed in Cameroon Saturday are dead. Authorities who have been to the crash site say the plane plunged nose first into a muddy mangrove forest about 20 kilometers from the coastal city of Douala. They believe the body of the plane is submerged in the swamp. Recovery teams Monday are using machetes and chain saws to hack through the dense mangrove forest to reach the wreckage and search for bodies. The Boeing 737 jet went down during a torrential rainstorm early Saturday after taking off from Douala. Authorities were not able to locate the plane for more than 40 hours.
