其实不新了,不过流览一下ms没有人贴这个:Mark Selby has won the inaugural 888.com Silver Chip award for Outstanding Performance. The 23-year-old qualifier from Leicester was voted winner of the award after in reaching the semi-finals at the 888.com World Snooker Championship. An expert panel from the Snooker Writers’ Association judged Selby worthy of special recognition regardless of the outcome of his semi-final battle against the 2005 World Champion Shaun Murphy. It wasn’t a unanimous decision however as the judges found it hard to choose between three potential winners. The talented young Ulsterman Mark Allen, making his Crucible debut, was an obvious nomination for his impressive victory over former champion Ken Doherty, but the SWA soon whittled it down to two.Murphy was a strong contender for his history-making comeback from an 11-5 frame deficit against Matthew Stevens, but in a close call it was Selby who got the most votes for his superb wins over Stephen Lee, Peter Ebdon and Ali Carter.
