Role
Summary:
This
position will be working on highly specialized tools and help build deep
understanding of Systems Engineering work.
Responsibility:
v This
position requires developing and maintaining high quality non-medical device
software tools in a regulated environment to support system design and system
evaluation functions. It involves developing, tailoring and maintaining
standard tool environments, associated documentation, training, and troubleshooting
and resolving problems related to these tools. It also requires validation of
these tools following medical device software regulations and generating the
required documentation.
v This
position requires providing technical expertise for the definition and
application of Systems Engineering tools in support of the development of
complex medical devices & web-based medical software systems.
v This
position requires working closely with functional teams and customers to
prioritize and plan updates to the system evaluation and system design tools.
Required
Skills:
·
Bachelors (5+ year experience) or
Masters (3+ year experience) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or
Electronic Engineering
·
Experience in software engineering
·
Experience in automated and manual
testing
·
Experience in medical device and/or
regulated industry a plus.
·
Experience in software development
lifecycle process, familiarity with formalized processes and procedures
·
Fluency in English language. Excellent
written / verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
·
Ability to use analytical and critical
thinking in tool design and tool maintenance tasks. Ability to collect,
organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions
and recommendations from all stakeholders using all sources of data
Additional:
·
Experience/proficiency in Python, Perl,
PHP, Tcl, Erlang, Haskell, Bash Shell
·
Experienced in XML/XSL/XSD (document
schema as well as document querying and formatting using XSL) and XML
processing using scripting languages.
·
Experienced with C++
·
Familiar with Java/C# object-oriented
languages.
·
Working experience in Lisp and any
flavor of Lisp, like Common Lisp, Scheme, Clojure
·
Programming environment is not limited,
like windows, Unix or Linux
·
Experience with change
management and issue tracking tools such as JIRA, AccuRev
