MILAN - Inter beat Roma 1-0 at the Giuseppe Meazza for an aggregate win of 3-0 and lift the Coppa Italia for the first time in twenty-five years. Sinisa Mihajlovic added to Adriano's double from the first leg with a magnificent free kick in the second half and made sure there's only one Milanese side with silverware this season. Francesco Toldo had a quiet opening forty-five as the Nerazzurri looked to increase their two-goal advantage more than Roma tried to reduce it. Sinisa Mihajlovic went close with a free kick after Julio Cruz had a low shot saved at full stretch by Curci. In between, Obafemi Martins had a penalty claim turned down after dribbling the Roma defence in a darting central run. Seven minutes after the restart Mihajlovic put Inter in front with a trademark curling free kick that hit the left post, went in at the other, and left Roma needing to score three. Which proved an impossible task as Mancini's men defended with diligence, denying the Roma attack on every occasion. We've won the cup, and going by the atmosphere here tonight, you get the feeling times are changing for the blue half of Milan.
