Plot: Set in season one of Supernatural and early on in TVD. Sam and Dean get coordinates to Mystic Falls from their father. Damon wakes up to find himself human with human Stefan taken by Katherine. Sam and Dean run across Damon, who pleads with them to help save his brother from the vampire and they begin their journey to find Katherine and Stefan. Damon's motives start to falter though when he and Dean start to fall for one another.

Dean jumped up on the motel room bed with the sound of springs and a wary look from Sam; his phone vibrated with a text. He quickly opened his cell to see the number was unavailable. He turned his eyes to Sam as he read over the message. They were coordinates and he instantly knew that they were from their father.
Sam sat up and walked over to Dean's bed to inspect the message. Written in the text were coordinates and a note telling them to call Bobby Singer.
"Dad?" Sam asked, knowing it was but saying it out loud always seemed to break the tension.
Dean nodded "I'm guessing…" his heart sunk again at the thought of their father being out there somewhere but refusing to see them.
"I'll check out the coordinates, you call Bobby," Sam said, walking over to his laptop. They currently had no jobs and had been researching to find nothing. This could be a good thing.
Dean nodded and stared at the message. He wanted to see his father again…he hadn't since they had run into the case about vampires. He sighed and closed the message to search his contacts for Bobby's number.
After a few rings, there was an answer "Singer," he said, his voice gruff but down to business.
"Hey Bobby, its Dean," Dean said, feeling his chest lighten at the sound of the older hunter's voice.
"Hey Dean; haven't heard from you in a while. How are ya' boys?" Bobby asked, his voice light, causing a smile to form on Dean's face.
"We're good…you know, the usual; hunting. We got a text of coordinates from Dad and he told us to call you," Dean said, curiosity filling his voice. John usually only had them call Bobby when it was a special case, considering Bobby was like the supernatural thesaurus.
"Did he?" Bobby asked, clearly surprised "Asshat coulda' just called me himself. What's this about?"
Dean let out a laugh at how nice it was to speak with Bobby. He felt like family, which was something both of the Winchesters needed right now.
Dean held the phone against his ear as Sam beckoned him over to the computer to show him the results from the coordinates.
"He sent us coordinates to a town called," Dean peered at the screen where a small town in Virginia stood out "Mystic Falls, Virginia."
"Ah," Bobby said and there was a sound of shuffling and pause "Your father and I did a hunt there once. Vampires of some sort," he said.
Dean knit his eyebrows "Vampires? Well, we know how to kill them so what's the big deal?"
"They aren't your ordinary vampires as you would say…more like…type two," Bobby said, his voice lowering "much more dangerous than the ordinary."
Dean leaned back up and knit his eyebrows "Are you saying there is more than one type of vampire?"
Sam lifted his eyebrows at Dean and tilted his head.
Dean clicked the speakerphone on so his brother could hear.


"M'fraid' so; these vampires are extremely fast and strong. You do not want to go against them unprepared," Bobby continued.
"What exactly do you mean by fast and strong? Like demon strong?" Sam asked, now clearly intrigued.
"Ima' go with faster than the Impala at top speed and strong enough to throw a pick-up truck ten yards," Bobby said "Don' know why John thinks you two should be huntin' these monsters. We barely made it out alive."
Sam lifted his eyebrows at Dean, whose pride instantly bubbled "We can take on anything," he said in a flat tone; though beneath that he worried…he didn't want to put Sam in danger.
"Don't let your pride overwhelm common sense, Dean," Bobby snapped "They are tricky little things. They can compel a person to do what they desire and can tear your heart out without blinking an eye."
Dean cowered inside but wouldn't let it show "Alright…so how can we kill these things?"
"Good news is that they can be killed in several ways…burning, decapitation, stake through the heart…" Bobby said, his voice suddenly wary "Don't know if you should do this one alone. I could meet you there."
"I think we can handle it," Dean said, holding up a hand to Sam, who was about to object. There was a moment of silence.
"There is an herb that can weaken these suckers," Bobby continued.
"An herb?" Dean asked "Well, what kind?"
"It's called vervain," Bobby said "This takes the place of dead man's blood."
"So dead man's blood doesn't work on them?" Sam asked.
"Nope," Bobby said "Unfortunately, vervain is nearly impossible to find…apparently, it was all burned in the late 1800s."
"So where can we find it?" Dean questioned.
"Sometimes the founding families have some stashed away but good luck getting some outta' them. I do have some here but it's only a very small amount. It won't last you too long," Bobby said, still wondering why their father would send them on this hunt.
"So we'll stop by and pick it up," Sam said "anything else we should know?"
"They do burn in the sunlight…and they have to be invited into a place where humans dwell so do not invite anyone into your motel room. If your suspicious, the best way to catch them is to leave your door open and if they can't get in then you got em," Bobby explained "Also, make sure you have vervain on you. They cannot compel you if you're wearing it or if it's in your body."
"Good to know. Thanks Bobby," Dean said, smiling at Sam.
"You sure you don't want me to come with you?" Bobby questioned.
"I think we can handle it but thanks," Dean said "We're gonna' head out now. We're close so we'll see you in a bit, alright?"
"Alright boys," Bobby said "See ya'."

「他们可不是你们常说的那些一般的吸血鬼...更像是...二般的」Bobby的声音严肃了起来，「他们可比普通的吸血鬼危险多了！」
Dean抬起前倾的身子仍然紧锁着眉头，「你是说他们比一般的吸血鬼要厉害的多？」
Sam向Dean扬扬眉毛，歪着头示意了一下。Dean打开手机免提，好让他的弟弟也能听见。
「恐怕是的，那些吸血鬼非常快也非常强壮，你根本不能在毫无准备的情况下靠近他们。」Bobby继续说。
「你说的非常快和强壮是指到什么程度？」Sam明显很感兴趣的问。
「他们行动起来比全速的黑斑羚还要快，足够强壮到把一辆皮卡车扔出十码远。」Babby说，「不知道为什么John想这个时候让你们去那里狩猎。我们都勉强活着出来。」
