Fortunately enough, I had a favorable reception, and am very pleased to know a number of people enjoyed a wonderful world of classical music.Just as for any other music, in order to touch the power of classical music, it is the most immediate opportunity for you to see, listen to, and experience the live performance of musicians just in front of you.‘BYJ Classics/The Concert’ of today is planned to invite you to experience the deep impression of the masterpieces in the CD, which you cannot taste only by live performance. After repeated try and error, I am very glad to meet this day. What I feel happiest above all on holding the performance today is that the splendid musicians representing present Japan have gathered here.Conductor, Mr. Seikyo Kim and all the musicians in Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, who had inspired the audience with their wonderful music in ‘April Snow—Reunion’ in August, 2005, in this very site, and a young pianist, Mr. Shinya Kiyozuka, who attracts most attention of today, will newly join them, and they will unitedly send you the very essence of splendid & exciting classical music.
