It is going better slowly, prognosis is clean and I am trying to follw doctor´s rules. A month and half already passed since I am only lying in the bed. I am trying to be maximally meticulous because the health is most important and any kind of training session should be approve by doctors.

Mario does not want to prejudice about the term of returning to field, because his health is most important currently.- I stilll do not know, estimates are not correct in this case. 15 days more means nothing to me. I believe to be the same as before when I come back. The worst passed away – I had some problems with the heart, I was even the step close to quit engaging in sport activly. That passed away and now I am coping with the mononucleosis – I must be very careful and not to force anything.

The mononucleoses is specific disease and the recovery could last for months, therefore Mario is giving much attention to doctor´s instructions.- I am not able to say, because it is depending much on the organism alone. That is the immunological disease. It is depending on the way how body reacts, and that is individual matter. Several tennis players had this disease, and the "freshest" example is Justine Henin who after 6 months came back on the field. I am the optimist and I am hoping for the fast recovery. I would not make any false move, be sure in that. I am still young, there are many years of playing among world top players in front of me.

Before the injury, Mario was full of strength and surely he was one of the most prepared players on tour. - Of course it came in the wrong moment, I was at the top of my strength. I played five sets with Roddick in Australia, and I was prepared to play yet 3-4 after that. It was very strange that only three weeks after that 15 minutes of walking made me so tired. I played the Davis Cuo although I had all those symptoms. I could not imagine that it would complicate like this but still I played the excellent match with Hausa. After that duel my problems started. I had throat pyorrhoea, temperature and I was using antibiotics. In that moment everything complicates, but owing to excellent doctors diagnosis is defined very quickly and I could start with the medical treatment.

Mario is thinking a lot about that famous Davis Cup because there will be a struggle for the remaining in the World group.- The main priority is to stay in the World group. We have great team, we will see the lot results, and then prepare for them.

In the end of conversation Ancic emphasized that he would like to return to his favourite Wimbledon tour, but only if doctors allowed him.- I hope I will be ready till Wimbledon. Two more tournaments from Master series passed, Monte Carlo is next, but also Roland Garros. They are all strong tournaments and great number of points could be realized there. As I said, there is no need to hurry. I must be meticulous during my recovery and listening to my body. I have to forget my physical condition before this disease, because I am coming from the beginning.
