随着教育技术的迅猛发展,基于认知科学的多媒体计算机辅助英语教学的理论研究与实践也取得了重大进展,而且已经成为一种重要的教学手段，应用在现在的教学中。师生由原来单一的上课方式，已经在多媒体计算机的辅助之下，走进了一个新的开放性的模式。借助多媒体计算机的优越性，给学生提供了理想的在真实情景下感知语言与文化的环境，使学生们的学习由原来的枯燥乏味，变的生动有趣，培养了学生们的学习兴趣。但在利用多媒体计算机的同时，也随之产生了一系列问题。本文研究和分析了多媒体计算机应用在英语教学的重要性，和怎样与英语教学巧妙的结合，起到辅助作用，以及如何处理相应产生的一些问题。

With the rapid development of educational technology, computer-assisted multimedia English teaching method, based on cognitive science, has achieved great progress both theoretically and practically, has become a important teaching modality, and is presently being applied in teaching. Helped with the multimedia computers, teachers and students have walked into a fresh, and open circumstances, from the simple and boring classroom. The advantage of multimedia computers has provided students with more ideal and real situation to sense the language and cultural surroundings. This change has made the learning process less boring and more interesting, and is stimulationg the students' interest in learning. However, the use of multimedia computers has produced a series of problem.
