This one is a mix of AC1 and the ACR Multiplayer interface. You can use these videos for more than just your desktop. You can try putting yourself or someone in the 'Animus' :D Skip to 3:35 to see non-cap version of the wallpapers.
Yes, there is indeed a startup sound! You can also have up to three patron pictures on display. And yes you can edit some skins to fit your desktop! However, it's still very messy as of the moment. (still a Rainmeter noob, wooh!!!) I can't seem to make a proper theme file for it. The rmskin file will load the default skins but it will not load them in an arranged manner similar to my setup. But if you're impatient and you can't wait for the 'proper' version, you can still get it in the Components section.
Please make sure you have the latest Rainmeter version installed. Also, this is most compatible with Windows 7. Feel free to modify the skins/codes to your liking.

I decided it was time to revamp my old Animus 2.0 desktop. The DNA sequence and the general look and feel is patterned from ACII. The new Rainmeter skin also borrows elements from ACII.
Regarding the Rainmeter skins, I tried out a new approach on customizable skins. Check out the small tutorial in the video for details. It starts at 1:16. There are instructions in the skin folder as well.

▍The .mpg version stops a split second before looping on my PC. Try it on yours and let me know if it runs smoothly. This format consumes less CPU.
▍The .wmv version looks a bit better quality-wise and loops seamlessly but at the cost of CPU.

Not too many variations on this one. Still, this is probably my favorite setup among all my desktop themes. It's a shame we only get a few seconds of that "Masyaf Key" loading screen. Now I can look at it all day. :) Skip to 00:43 for non-cap version.
I know the replication is not perfect and I took some liberties regarding the look of the "floor." I think I'm gonna leave it like that for now.
Let me know if the theme file doesn't work. I've also got some icons in there that you might not find useful. Still, feel free to modify/add/change links and icons as you please.
