His errors were as follows: not coming to net more often when the point construction requires it be so; he hit some balls down the line and cross-court when it was wrong to do so--brain cramp. The reason is because he played very aggressive to close the match in the 3rd set when the score was 4-3 Ferrero, and he steped it up a notch and just took the match with ease--he began to hit winners like crazy; Starace was left just standing still; Starace wasn't even able to react. I was like, 'why didn't you do this earlier'? Ferrero said that he asked himself, "well, am I going to risk to win or just try'. And he decided to win for sure, he hit some powerful shots--acurate and well placed too. He raised his level when he really needed to, and I haven't seen him do that in a long time, a long time.
