Marat arrived in San Jose on Monday (2/12), and he is pretty funny and nice!!(reported by a SAP OPEN volunteer Fee,courtesy of MTF)志愿工作人员Fee (Fee 是Roddick 粉丝) 载萨芬的有趣故事Marat arrived early on Monday morning, he seemed okay when I drove him this afternoon, spent most of the time speaking Spanish with GGL's coach and whoever is working with MS this week. Not sure if I will see him for the rest of the week, but I really hope to sit and watch his match on Tuesday.MART 星期一清晨抵达，今天下午我载他时他心情颇好，大部分的时间都用西班牙语跟GGL教练及他自己的随行者聊天。不确定是否整个礼拜都能看到他，但我星期二铁定会去观赏比赛的。Marat does not like my singing.I know this because when Collide came on, I started singing along (quietly, I thought) and Marat reached over and turned the volume up. A lot. So I turned to him and said, is this your way of telling me you would rather hear him sing than me? And he said 'no no no! you were enjoying the song so I turned it up to HELP you' So I laughed out loud, and the two coaches in the back seat laughed at him. And I said 'okay, I see...' and he said 'No, I was trying to be nice. See, I cannot win!' That was funny. It was right at the end of the trip, and Marat had one freshly strung racket in his hand, so as he got out of the car, I said 'that's a pretty racquet in your hand, try not to break it today, okay?' and he said 'I'll be good today' (it was just practice anyway). Off they went, I was still laughing. (that was the only important part of our conversation, he and his coach and GGL's coach spent most of the trip speaking in Spanish).

MARAT 不喜欢我的歌声....当COLLIDE 这首歌播放时我才发现这点(MARAT 不喜她的歌声 :p)，因为一开始我自己在那边哼唱(我自己觉得是小小声的)而MARAT 却靠过来把声音拉高，拉高很多...我忍不住问他，你是在暗示你宁愿听他唱也不想听我唱吗? 他说，"NO NO NO ，你唱得很愉快所以我也跟著大声助兴阿" 我大笑了，後座的两位教练也跟著笑他。我告诉他"OK，我知道了" 然後他就"不是呀，我是想示好，可你看看，我反而搞砸了"。实在够爆笑了。快到目的地时，MARAT 手拿一支全新的球拍，当他走出车外时我说"那拍子很漂亮，拜托今天别摔坏，OK ? " 然後他回我" 今天我会控制的 (反正今天只是练习嘛)。" 他们就离开了，我还是笑个不停 (这些是我们少数对话的重点，因为他、教练和GGL的教练一路都讲西班牙语)_____________中译 by Justsafin

I will say something that I'm sure you already know if you've seen him in person. Marat can do anything with a racquet and ball that he wants to, I've never seen anyone like that. In practice yesterday, he was flipping the ball around between rallies and it looked odd but the ball always went exactly where he wanted it to. He did a few things like that during the match too. There was a ball on the court after a point and without even looking Marat walked up to and smacked his racquet on it and the ball went behind him and straight to the ball kid! He also did that thing where he caught the ball on his racquet in midair without it bouncing on the strings (right at the end of the match) and the crowd was so impressed they applauded him! He did all of these little tricks non-chalantly, like he wasn't even thinking about it, but every single time the ball did exactly what it was supposed to do. Neat-o.总之，我没法讲太多比赛的细节，因为第一盘我没赶上。我要谈谈一些有接触过他本人都很清楚的事。MARAT 可以用球拍玩球，各种花招都会。我从来没看过那麼厉害的.昨天练习的时候，在抽球中间他会让把丢到空中，而且好奇怪喔，球都会跑到他想控制的位置。在比赛的时候，他也会玩球 (JS，MARAT 玩球真的很神!!超有球感的) 记得其中有一分结束之後，MARAT 根本看也没看就走到球边，用球拍一击，球就正好飞到後面球童的面前!还有在比赛结束之前，他在空中用球拍接球，球尽量安稳地在拍上连一点弹跳都没有，观众全部都看傻眼了，全场抱以热烈掌声!这些把戏对他来说好像与生俱来，好似他连想都没想一样，但每个球就是精准地落在该有位置，太酷啦!!

I spoke to him for a minute after the match, I was sitting near the door when he came to the trans office for his ride. I looked up at him and very quietly said 'you are a meanie' and kind of pouted at him. He looked at his shoes with this priceless look of guilt, so I said 'ah ha, that look of guilt on your face means you know exactly what I am talking about! You hurt my feelings and I cried myself to sleep last night!' He laughed and said 'oh no you didn't' Then he told me he had a doubles match today, stunningly at the other site (which by the way, means its FREE to see Marat play tonight), so I told him that was too bad, he didn't have a day off so he couldn't go anywhere fun. We talked about the court and the practice court (different speeds) and he said he adjusted (shrugged it off, said 'what can you do') and then he was off, but I think he had a little smile on his face.比赛结束之後我跟他聊了一分钟，我刚好坐在门边而他正要等接泊车。我往上看著他然後轻声地就"你是个坏蛋 "，还有点嘟嘴巴。他看看自己的鞋子，露出迷人又带著罪恶感的眼神，我便说"厚厚，你那罪恶感的眼神正表示你晓得我在讲什麼了。你伤害了我，害我昨晚哭到睡著!"他笑了对我说 "oh, no，你没有吧" 之後他告诉我今天他还有双打比赛，而且是在另一个场地喔(意思也就是，今晚看MARAT打球是免费的)，我便回答他，唉那真不巧，他连一天假都没有，不能出去玩玩。我们聊了比赛场地和练习场地 (速度不一样)，他说他适应了 (跟著耸耸肩，说"不然又能怎麼办")，之後便离开，不过我觉得他脸上有带著一丝微笑。Now that he's played on the arena court, I think he'll be okay for the rest of the week. It's a shame that the practice courts aren't exactly the same, but since he is one of the top guys, he can get onto the arena court whenever its empty so he should be okay.现在他已经在比赛场打过，我想这礼拜应该是会OK的。实在很糟糕，练习场跟比赛场竟然不一样，但他毕竟是大明星，只要球场空著他随时可以使用的。If I drive him again, I plan to have my revenge in the form of ABBA's Greatest Hits.
