what I like about him, is that air of confusing , or searching, a little bit like he is suffering something in his real life, and he bring that inconsciously into the acting itself, which enrich the acting. He is good at acting the tragic TV roles, the tragic can better show his skills and his depts as a person. When a person can intreprete so well, you really become interested in himself, want to know more about his spiritual world, how did he work to intreprete so well, how can he get a good understanding of the roles. It is because he is smart? Or what kind of life experienece he has ?
