The ESPY Awards (Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly Award) is an accolade presented by ESPN to recognize individual and team athletic achievement during the calendar year.
The 2012 ESPYS will be broadcast live on Wednesday, July 11th at the Nokia Theater in downtown Los Angeles with host Rob Riggle. The event is the one night where the sports world joins together to celebrate the best sports moments of the year. The ESPYS and related events benefit the V Foundation for Cancer Research in memory of the late Jim Valvano.
