She had five sisters and one brother. Her mother died in 1821.After that, Charlotte and her sisters went away to school. Two of her sisters died there. Charlotte wrote about her school in Jane Eyre and called it Lowood School. Her sister Maria, who died at school, was like Helen Burns. Like Jane Eyre, Charlotte worked as a teacher after she left school. Then she and her sisters Emily and Anne started to write books. In 1847, Jane Eyre was successful. But in 1848, Charlotte’s brother and her sister Emily both died. Sadly, her other sister Anne died soon afterwards. Charlotte wrote more books, then in 1854 she got married. But only a few months later, she herself died.The book Jane Eyre told us a story that a poor, young woman Jane Eyre was employed by Mr. Rochester as his daughter’s English teacher. Days passed by, Jane Eyre found herself fell in love with Mr. Rochester and was eager to marry him. Mr. Rochester was deeply in love with Jane Eyre too. But he had a secret in his heart that he had already has a wife Bertha Mason, who got married with him fifteen years ago. After the wedding, Bertha slowly became mad and dangerous. She wanted to kill Mr. Rochester, and she tried to kill anybody who came near her, even though her brother Mr. Mason. This secret made him and Jane Eyre into a deeply pain. Years went by, Mr. Rochester’s Thornfield Hall burned down, Mr. Rochester was blind then. But Jane Eyre got some money from her uncle who has died already. At last, Jane Eyre and Mr. Rochester got married and lived happily.For me, I was moved for Jane Eyre. Even though Mr. Rochester became blind, she didn’t dislike and avoid him and still accepted him. What a happy ending!
