The Black Crowes是Robinson兄弟为核心组成的乐队，成军于1984，走红于90年代，他们的父母都是美国南部的歌星。风格么，是ROCK&BLUES，美国南部摇滚的代表乐队。个性比较叛逆，大概是那个年代的通病，虽然木有走那个年代流行的重金属摇滚风，但有那个年代摇滚乐队酗酒吸毒+愤青的毛病。

Hard to Handle是第一张专辑《Shake Your Money Maker》中的单曲，其实也是翻唱的，原唱者叫 Otis Reading，是个黑人灵魂乐歌手/唱作人，很年轻就走红了，很年轻就挂了（26岁），死于巡演中飞机失事。Hard to Handle在他死去之后（1968）才发行，收录在专辑《The Immortal Otis Redding.》中。
