【PS:In the easy-listener "Flawed" she sounds like a mixture of Lene Marlin and Marit Larsen - the former who have by the way written the closing song"Yesterday's Gone" together with Amundsen. This song is produced by Frode Jacobsen (Madrugada) - and is the best song on the record. This is a song Susanne Sundfør could have written. Stripped down to piano and organ, cello and bass organ it appears more organic and less pompous than some of the other tracks.
Obviously, with all due respect to newcomer Frida Amundsen, as a Lene Marlin fan it's hard to not be in agreement with reviewer Øyvind Rønning of Dagbladet in his assessment of the songs on the album. With a bit of "Lene touch" most songs are getting better - we have seen this again and again (just ask Sissel, Elin Gaustad, Aleksander With and Lovebugs). 】
