YPE is busy these days. It’s hasn’t been long till Park Jin Young’s solo album release but JJ Project has debuted as well. Let’s hear from JJ Project who came to us with the music style called ‘Hip-Rock-Tronica’.
Q: Hello, nice to meet you.(^^) Please introduce yourselves to the Bugs! family.
Hello Bugs! Family, we are JJ Project who got to debut with the single album ‘BOUNCE’.
JB : Hello, I am the tea***eader and vocalist JB. Nice to meet you!
Jr. : Hello, I am the rapper and cutie Junior~~, nice to meet you!
Q: You got known through ‘Dream High 2’ first, how does it feel to debut as a singer now?
JB : I was very nervous when I first had my debut as an actor, but I am ever more nervous to debut as a singer. But since I worked hard for this day, I am anticipating a lot myself. Please love JJ Project’s ‘Bounce’ a lot! We’ll show you lots of cool performances!
Jr. : I was also very nervous when I had my debut with Dream High 2. I was wondering what would happen if I made mistakes. I thought that I’d be even more nervous to debut as a singer but as I think of it, it makes me more nervous. I think that I’d be able to show a good side on stage as I have practiced endlessly! Please look forwards to JJ Project on stage! Bounce!
Q: Why is the group name JJ Project?
JB : Many people thought that it would be a unit project comprised of the seniors of our company when the teaser came out. (^^) We added the first letter of our names JB and Jr to make JJ and Project was added to show that the fans and us will progress together as time goes by.
Q: Please explain your debut album [BOUNCE] to us!
Jr. : This album is our first single album. It includes out title song ‘Bounce’, and an addition of 4 songs. One song has a featuring with Miss A’s Suzy senior in it.
JB : I will explain about our title song ‘Bounce’. It’s a song comprised of genres Rock, Hip-Hop, Electronic, hence called ‘Hip-Rock-Tronica’ and it’s a dance song. It’s an exciting song that everyone can enjoy and make you dance! Did everyone listen to it?(^^)
Q: Any fun episodes that happened in your company?
JB : Our Jr has the same name as Park Jin Young PD so why doesn’t Jr explain!
Jr. : My mother had sent something over, but I looked all over the place at the company but it wasn’t there. The hyungs and noonas said that they didn’t see it either.. but in the meantime I heard that Park Jin Young PD had the package~ I told my mom to send it to ‘Trainee Park Jin Young. (^^;)
Q: Please tell us about your upcoming plans for your album promotions.
JB : First of all, thank you to the JYP family for making us able to debut. We will do our best to see the fans at broadcasts, radios, performances!
Jr. : Since JJ Project just started, I wish to meet everyone often. We will show you the energy of teenagers on stage!! Please love JJ Project lots lots! We will become a hardworking JJ Project.
Q: ANd lastly, a message to the Bugs! Family.
JB : Bugs! Family, JJ Project has just had their debut. We will do our best in everything as we are just rookies. If you listen to ‘Bounce’, you’ll be excited! Please spend a hot summer with JJ Project’s ‘Bounce’ on Bugs Music~!! JJ Project will be with Bugs Music as well. BOUNCE!! BOUNCE!!
Jr. : Whilst practicing we listened to music from Bugs! as well. I can’t believe that we’re doing an interview with Bugs!. Please listen to our title song ‘BOUNCE’ a lot a lot a lot on Bugs~~! The hot summer will turn fresh~! Please love JJ Project lots!!!
