His thoughts about Joshua Ledet (his favorite) going home:
At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter if I think he’s the best, if you think he’s the best. If not enough people do then he doesn’t get the votes. It never worries me. I get a lot of these tweets saying, “Colton [Dixon] was sent home, i’m never watching American Idol again in my life.” It’s sad because at the end of the day it’s just like watching a soccer team or your football team and you're just hoping they’re gonna win... at least with this, I truly believe that both colton actually and joshua are gonna have good careers. Joshua, to be in a stadium with him, is going to be incredible... He's too big almost for a television show... He’s tremendous ... Voice-wise, Jessica’s up there with him... Philip’s there, I’m thrilled for them all. I've said it before and I mean it, these are the best 3 that I’ve ever seen on American Idol in one show.
