Analysis on stucture:There are 4 stanzas in the poem, and in each stanza, there are 5 lines.Rhyme scheme:I see 5 different words in the end of the first stanza, they are wood, both, stood, could, undergrowth. Suppose wood’s rhyme scheme is a, then the rhyme scheme of this poem is a,b,a,a,b. Metrical rhyme: Iambic tetrameter.Figure of speech: Personify.

Theme and emotion of this poem: The author wants to say that we will always make choices in life. There are always many roads in front of us, but we can only take one of them! When the author is walking on the road he chose, he thinks about the other one in his mind. The situation puts him into a dilemma. This makes me feel that there is no road to lead you back. Time will pass quickly and never come back. The author puts emphesis on the road that has not been taken and means that road is attractive. When we look back to life, the road that has not been taken in life will make us regretful. All these descriptions will put us into deep thinking. It’s not only a road in countryside, but also a choice in life. Besides this, this famous poem gives me a sad and sorrowful feeling in every stanza. The author feels helpless when diciding which road to take, but he still makes a decision. He can’t forget the other road, but he still looks forward to the future. All these writing give me a deep feeling, it’s meaningful. The author describes wonderful eyesight in the poem and this feels like a ture understanding of life. Actually life is a choice and there are always more than two roads in front of us. The poem is written in a distressed tone, but it’s still hopeful.

以前很少留意外国的诗,但自从看了《THE DA VINCI CODE》后就发觉原来“鸡肠”都可以凑出如此精妙的诗句！！ 但我还是钟情于自己国家的诗体！！ 哈哈~~~就连翻译都如此的精妙传神！！——关山先生的翻译本未选之路林中两路分，可惜难兼行。 游子久伫立，极目望一径。 蜿蜒复曲折，隐于丛林中。 我选另一途，合理亦公正。 草密人迹罕，正待人通行。 足迹踏过处，两路皆相同。 两路林中伸，落叶无人踪。 我选一路走，深知路无穷。 我疑从今后，能否转回程。 数十年之后，谈起常叹息。 林中两路分，一路人迹稀。 我独进此路，境遇乃相异。

这个翻译的基本传神了，很好`~不说我仔细看还以为是V亲的手笔呢~

还有一种较好的翻译吧：（满喜欢这种的）黄色的树林里分出两条路，可惜我不能同时去涉足，我在路口久久伫立，向着一条路极目望去，直到它消失在丛林深处。但我却选择了另外一条路，它荒草凄凄，十分幽寂，显得更诱人，更美丽，虽然在这条小路上，很少留下旅人的足迹。那天清晨落叶满地，两条路都未经污染。留下一条路等改日再见！但我知道路径延绵无尽头，恐怕我难以再回返。也许多少年后在某个地方，我轻声叹息将往事回顾：一片树林里分出两条路---而我选择了人迹更少的一条，从此决定了我一生的道路。

呵呵，你们的翻译都很好，一个是讲究韵律，一个是讲究意境，这个说法呵呵~~不知道怎么说~~反正都很好，风格不同，但是意念同样优美~
