Readying to tackle a new gig, Zooey Deschanel looks to have landed herself an exciting new role on Broadway according to an exiting announcement told during her stop at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee on Thursday (May 10). The "Adorkable" actress took the stage with Loretta to reveal that the country legend had chosen the "New Girl" to portray her in the upcoming Broadway production centered on her life, "Coal Miner's Daughter".

“I know Zooey is going to be great – she sings and writes her own songs just like I do, and we even have the same color eyes!” Loretta shared.
