One of our favorite guests came by the podcast again. Gabriel Mann, Nolan Ross from ABC's REVENGE, gave us a tease on what we can expect in the remaining episodes leading up to the season finale:
"Wait until you see what these writers have in store. I just started thinking about it today because we now wrapped our season. NOW that we are back on the air again and the episodes are rolling out, I am starting to reflect back on what actually happened on the show and its characters. The end of this season is so shocking, that I think all of us...I don't even know how to describe it. People are going to start going bananas. They are going to realize what happened, and it's with characters fans would NEVER expect. (laughs) It's UGLY...in the BEST kind of way!"
Episode 20 of REVENGE, entitled, LEGACY, is the flashback episode that showcases the beginning of Amanda Clarke getting ready to start her revenge plot against the Graysons.
"This is when AMANDA is in her full bad-assery mode. It's great because it shows further origins between her and Nolan, further origins between JACK and Nolan. We get that backstory, which I didn't know there was a backstory. There is now! Everyone was having a lot of fun with wigs, and it's hilarious. It's really well done."
Expect the Nolan/Emily relationship to be tested yet again. The actor explained why these two could wind up at odds:
"They are very complicated people, and they know way too much about each other at this point. That's going to work for good, for bad, maybe BOTH, for both of them and their characters' relationships. Everyone else in their vicinity will be affected as well. That's why it is an intriguing relationship. It's never cut and dry. There are things people like and don't like about it, but it's never predictable. Oh yeah, they will be tested as you will see in the next few weeks. Whether they will come out the other side..."
Can you imagine another actor playing the role of Nolan Ross OTHER than Gabriel Mann? No? Me, neither; however the actor was THIS CLOSE to quitting actor two weeks prior to getting the REVENGE pilot.
