Wetpaint Entertainment: Let’s get right to business — what will we see in the finale?
Janel Parrish: You’ll see everything start to come to a head. [We will] reveal A, more about what happened to Alison, relationships. Everything is just going to bubble over in the last episode. It’s going to be great, and you’ll get some serious answers. But there will also be more questions coming back to Season 3.
事件到最后一集发展到了紧要关头，A的身份会暴露，Alison之前的经历也会展现。有些问题会得到严肃的解答，但更多的秘密要等到第三季才会揭晓。
What was your reaction to the reveal in the final script?
[I was] shocked and very excited. I think everybody at the table read — we all showed up to read the scripts there — and you could just hear everyone go, “Oh my God.” Because the writers kept everything very close to the vest, from all of us. None of us knew what they were going to go with. So it’s really exciting, and I’m so excited to see how everyone likes it when they see it because it’s going to be the most intense episode we’ve ever had, for sure.
看到最后一集剧本的时候的反应：我非常震惊非常兴奋，当时所有围坐在桌边看剧本的人（演员，剧务）都发出OMG之类的惊叹，编剧心海底针，结果太出人意料了。这一集将是PLL里节奏最紧张的一集。
Now that you know who “A” is, did you re-watch old episodes?
Yeah. Sometimes when a [Pretty Little Liars] marathon’s on, I watch back and look for clues that the writers gave us that we didn’t even see. It’s kind of fun.
在知晓结局后Janel Parrish仍旧会回看之前的片段，她发现很多线索其实都能揭示A的身份，只不过观众们目前貌似都没有发现啊，就在眼皮下面溜走了。
Is it obvious who “A” is?
No. Not really. [The writers] did a really good job of keeping you guessing. Even now, when I know and watch back, [I] kind of like [go], Oh, there was a little clue. That’s when they were trying to throw us off there. We have great writers. They’re very clever, and they’ll keep you guys and me guessing every single time a new episode comes out.
谁是A？其实这个问题的答案不太明显，编剧们把ta藏得很深，每播出一集大家就会有新的猜测，编剧太聪明了。
