在中国网络上搜索凯尔特女人的资料，通常会得到这样的结果：凯尔特女人（Celtic Woman），是流行乐史上实力最强大的组合之一。乐队由身兼音乐总监、指挥、作曲及编曲者四项身份的大卫·唐恩领军，以四位爱尔兰歌手克萝伊、莉莎、梅芙、欧拉及一位小提琴手玛莉，还有06年刚加入的新西兰籍巨星Hayley Westenra所组成的超级团体，她们融合了莎拉布莱曼、美声男伶、恩雅、居尔特男高音、易希等人特色，结合了新世纪、古典、传统凯尔特乐风与爱尔兰一派等的音乐戏剧式演出风格，为全球乐迷创造了视听双效的全新选择。
对凯尔特女人的性质解释对了，但是对这个组合的变化没有描述完全不全面。。。06年竟然是刚刚。。。
下面开始正式介绍发展过程。。。

06年Meav休完产假会来，Deirdre Shannon离开。同年Hayley Westenra加入。
这是CW的大发展时期，发行了专辑《A New Journey》及其DVD，个人认为A New Journey是她们最好的作品。。。
Meav于2007年正式离开凯尔女人，由Lynn Hilary代替其位置。
Hayley于2008年初离开凯尔特女人

Alex Sharpe在08年的演出中暂时代替怀孕缺阵的Lisa Kelly。不过Lisa Kelly回来时，Alex没有像Deirdre一样离开，而离开的是Orla。
08年制作了专辑《Songs From The Heart》及其DVD，不过发行很晚。。。

11年录制了新专辑《Believe》及其DVD，不过专辑于12年1月24号发行，而11年发行了CW的另一个圣诞节专辑《A Celtic Christmas》，不过其中的歌曲除了《An Angel》，都来自于原来的专辑。
原定于12年1月份在中国的演唱会取消了(注：这几场演唱会是Songs From The Heart，不是当时已经推出的Believe)，原因是因为Lisa K又怀孕了。
现在由Susan McFadden代替Lisa K的位置。

Lisa Lambe is an Irish singer and actress who is currently a member of the ensemble Celtic Woman. Her career encompasses roles from the stage to musical theater, film and television, and radio performances. The Irish Times has described her as "the finest singer and actress of her generation on whom a whole new foundation of theatre can be built." Lisa Lambe started out in the performing arts at the age of three, and graduated with a Bachelor of Acting Studies from Trinity College Dublin. She has starred in numerous title roles in theatrical productions throughout Ireland, Europe and the UK. 悲剧、、、关于Lynn的介绍两个都吞了。。。度娘，我恨你

Susan McFadden is a graduate of the Billie Barry Stage School, located in Dublin. Before appearing on Grease is the Word, McFadden toured with many Irish entertainers (including June Rodgers) in supporting roles. She was one of the dancers in Daniel O'Donnell's Rock & Roll Show tour and DVD. She also played the role of Kathy in an Irish production of Singing in the Rain in 2004 to much acclaim. The show played at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin and the Everyman Palace Theatre in Cork. She is the winning contestant on the ITV reality TV show Grease Is the Word. As a result she played the lead female role of Sandy in the West End production of Grease with Danny Bayne beginning in August 2007.
