april 14, 2005 (thu) i've FINALLY finished with all the recordings for the album!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!argh... past few months had been so tough. making this album is definitely so much harder than making my debut album. when i was making album #1, basically my entire life evolved around the album. but now, it's like making the album + doing promotions + whole bunch of other stuff you have to juggle with when you're an "artist." it's indeed a great relief. anthony si-fu is now mixing the songs and we are doing the cover shoot next week. the album itself should be out in may. next time if any of you see anthony (in my shows or if you recognize him and bump into him in the streets), you should go up to him and thank him on my behalf (not that i don't thank him enough). he has worked so hard.now i feel like my life is back to normal. before, i felt like i have to use every single moment of my free time to do things related to the album - first of all, writing, and then rewriting and then re-rewriting, and nights of recording, meetings with all sorts of people, and most importantly, being on the phone constantly with different people. comparatively, promotions aren't that tough. just go out there, sing and look good. that's all. not much brain activity involved! haha. anyways, when i've got more stuff confirmed i'll let you all know the title and the tracklisting and other good stuff. ciao for now!
