Rascal Flatts and Zac Brown Band have been added to the 2012 CMA Music Festival lineup. They'll join previously-announced performers Jason Aldean, the Band Perry and Carrie Underwood for the nightly shows at LP Field, with more artists to be announced soon. Set for June 7 - 10, 2012, the star-studded event will take over downtown Nashville with autograph booths, fan club parties, family activities, daily concerts at Riverfront Park, the nightly stadium shows and much more. Camera crews from ABC will capture highlights from the long weekend to air on a TV special later in the year.
Last year, the CMA Music Festival drew a record 65,000 fans to Music City, from all 50 states and 26 countries. According to the Nashville Convention and Visitors Bureau, those fans spent more than $30 million in the city, making the annual event a huge economy booster for Nashville.
