这档节目是早间脱口秀，1983年开始在纽约播出，1988年在全国播出。前段时间主持人之一Regis Philbin退休，11月18日是他主持的最后一期节目，此后他将不再参与该节目。节目组在为Kelly Ripa寻找一位新的主持搭档，过程中会邀请一些可能的候选人参与节目主持，于是这周就是我们NPH啦。（维鸡渣翻，随便看看吧= =）

Regis: Why Neil Patrick Harris Won't Replace Me
Even though everyone really wishes he would!
The hunt is on to find someone to replace Regis Philbin
on Live!, a post he has had for over 28 years. It isn't as easy as you would think and what is making it that much difficult is the location of the show.
Case in point: Neil Patrick Harris has proved time and time again that he is a wonderful host. Personable, charming and such a looker, he was practically made to sit next to Kelly Ripa to talk about the benefits of kale and how to shop on a budget.
The star will be filling the void through this week, but when Reg was asked if he thought NPH would take the spot full-time, he was totally honest in saying, "HELL NO!"
More accurately, he said:
"Neil Patrick Harris always does a great job — but he's got an enormous hit. They've got to find someone who has the time right now to do that. Neil was great and he will probably pinch hit, I'm sure. They have to keep looking around until they find someone that really appeals to Kelly… and then they'll go for it."
That enormous hit is How I Met Your Mother … which films in Los Angeles
. That would be one hell of a commute for the guy every day! And being a new daddy and all! No, no. He's better off subbing for now and letting someone else take over from him after this week.
But who, we ask?! WHO????
