WHEN ex-boyband heart-throb Duncan James is in town you can be sure there'll be a swarm of girls not far behind. But Duncan tells The Diary on his latest trip to Manchester he's only got eyes for one lady - and that's his 17-month-old daughter Tianie. When I caught up with the former-Blue singer turner solo star, at the city’s Tiger Tiger bar, he said he’s single – and planning on staying that way.He said: “There’s only one lady in my life and that’s my beautiful little girl.“She’s the only person I’ve got time for and I don’t want to compromise the time I have with her for anything.”And as for all the rumours of late that he’s been dating Bolton actress and singer Amy Nuttall? “It’s all rubbish,” he says.“I’ve known Amy for years and we happened to be at a polo event together because we’ve got the same manager.“But then all of a sudden people were saying we’re an item when really we’re just friends.” Duncan’s new single Can’t Stop a River is out today and he performed songs from his debut solo album to a select group of fans at Century FM’s Ladies Night last week.But if it all goes wrong on the music front, he tells me he won’t be falling back on reality TV – like his former Blue bandmate Antony Costa.I hear producers of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here rang him last week offering him £50,000 to appear in the show, but he turned them down.He said: “It’s just not something I’d be comfortable doing.”
