INSIDER here! Brace yourselves. New episodes of NCIS: Los Angeles start airing
September twentieth (this Tuesday!) and from what I’ve seen so far, the show’s
creators are taking no prisoners. We’ve been shooting for a few weeks and
judging by all the action and intrigue going on in these opening episodes, I
think their goal for this season is complete primetime domination.
The cast and crew seem equally hyped. On our first day of shooting Eric
Christian Olsen (who plays Deeks) asked me “Have you read this first script
yet? It’s awesome! We’re charging out the gates!” Daniela Ruah (Kensi)
shared his enthusiasm, adding “Everyone’s really excited to be back. It’s
like the first day of school when you know it’s going to be a great year!”
Talking to the actors, I got the impression they know of big things in store for
their characters. What, I do not know. None of the writers are giving anything
away but one did mention that this season, they’ll be “digging even deeper
into the lives and relationships of the NCIS: Los Angeles crew.” He didn’t go
into detail, but said only that they “have plenty of surprises planned for this
season for all our characters and maybe even a few new ones.” If you, like
myself, want to know what all this means, then KEEP COMING BACK!
