Finally Daria has returned to the pages of Vogue US! Although it is only one picture, and an unpublished shot at that, it sure is nice to have something new to look at. This new shot comes from the Bodies of Work editorial, which was the last time she appeared in Vogue US (April 2011). I automatically recognized the shot because it was somewhat featured towards the end of the video that came along with this editorial. I think it is a beautiful shot. The only thing that detracts the beauty from it is Daria's sad expression. Does she look sad, or maybe worried, to anyone else?
Fortunately at this time, this isn't the only unpublished shot that has surfaced lately. Thanks to child in time (Bellazon), we have a few more to feast our eyes on. The first is unmistakingly by Derek Kettela. Daria has worked with Kettela so many times, I think I can pinpoint his photography now. The published images from this shoot can be found in Glamour UK July 2008 (Daria by Daria). Frankly, I can not believe that image was not put in the spread. Its gorgeous! The second image is the newest and comes from the 2010 Lancome shoot by Jeff Burton. Most of the images from this shoot were never published, so it is fairly easy to find the unpublished images. The last unpublished image comes from the Paolo Roversi editorial featured in Vogue UK May 2007 (True Romance).!
