It is a charming movie. -In Dublin you'll easily recognize the places on Grafton Street where the street musician (Glen Hansard) plays the guitar and girl (Marketa Iglova) sells her flowers. When the thief steals the money and tries to run off, the musician catches up with him right inside the main gate to St Stephens Green.
Both these places are in the city center where most tourists go anyway, so you can't miss them. Just get a map from the local tourist office.
Sorry, can't help you with the coast or the beach locations, maybe one of the locals can.
