Ashanti spills beans on upcoming new single & album…
Ashanti has spilled a few details about her upcoming fifth studio album. The R&B songstress answered a couple of questions distributed by her fans, courtesy of a visit to US Weekly’s headquarters this week. She reveals that the first single from the project is not a ballad and that it “is coming out way sooner” than expected. Two confirmed songs on the album are titled ‘Paradise’ and ‘She Can’t’. Experimentation on the album meant that she explored “many different sounds” permitting her to venture out of her comfort zone.
The 30-year-old confirms she’s worked with completely new producers, than on previous records. Some of which are from the UK, and others from LA. “Hardest part [about making this album] was testing new waters, new people and taking on responsibility of my own label, Written Entertainment” she says. Believe it or not, a lot of people are waiting for Ashanti’s comeback. You can’t deny she has some bangers, and it wouldn’t be any fun with out the naysayers.
