Eric Church, Keith Urban Form Mutual Admiration Society
It's always fascinating to find out what kind of music and which singers your favorite artist is listening to at the moment. For instance, Eric Church has been on quite a few playlists as of late, including that of Keith Urban.
"I really like 'Homeboy' by Eric Church. I really like the last couple of singles he's had out," Keith tells CMT Radio. "I think 'Smoke a Little Smoke' and 'Homeboy' are both really great sounding records."
While we were hanging out at Eric's music video shoot for 'Homeboy,' we asked the singer-songwriter what he thought of the high praise from his Capitol Records label mate.
"I'm a music snob. I do not like anything," Eric tells The Boot. "And Keith's one of those guys that I've always respected. I've always loved his music. I've always thought he made real music about his life and about what he was going through, and you could feel that. There's just an integrity there that you don't always see, not only in our industry, but in any industry. So, to have a guy like that give you a little nod at what you're doing means a lot to me. I'm a fan, too!"
