SM:Now here is one of Paul McGuigan’s veryclever ideas. Because we actually made this shot in reversal and we made thethird one first. Um…”the great game” first. It came out of this idea of textappearing on screen which just stop having that clunky cutaway. Use someoneelse’s hand. Yes we always use someone else’s hand holding a phone in anextraordinary angle. Obviously in this episode you’ll see later, as you probablyknow it, we use in different ways as well and I think it’s become a bit of a signatureof the series. Brilliant enough.
SV: It’s cut away shot.It was the last day of filming, the second camera. And everyone is meeting butnobody wants to shoot them.
SM: AndI always get this impression that every character in this show is mildlyliteraled(似乎没有这个词……听起来像啊……大概意思就是刻画、描述什么的??). Guess what? It will take you a second tolook at it and say “Woo” and understand it and xxx(后面这一点听不清……). (MG: Ponder over it.)And there is another wonderful xxx asinspector Lestrade as we called him until Mark you pointed out.
MG: Yeha. It’s one ofthose things that we were saying that really obviously Sherlock Holmes is thework of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, a genius writer whose stories we bothabsolutely fond of as kids. It’s all him. Of course it’s his. But ourcontribution in reinventing this whole idea with the sort of device and a new bibleI suppose for what the modern diversion would be and it’s not as easy as itseems, not the discretion of removing the pipe and the deer stalker(好吧到底是什么stalker我不知道我没看过原著啊……) which have got Wendy in the first place. Butactually finding a modern equivalence for all kinds of things.... And funnyenough, very late of the day I actually, I did sit up in bed three o’clock inthe morning and think “you can’t call him inspector Lestrade, he’d be “DILestrade”(我猜的……不懂), like Jane xxx. And actually we’d alreadyshot quite a bit of staff. It’s funny all these things happened. SM: We shouldquickly mention that, for you Sherlock fan boy out there. Note the name on thecoffee cup that Martin Freeman has been xxx enough to hold by the bottom bit ofthe cup so he’s actually showing you his code “criterion” because the two ofthem in the story, Stanford and Watson, actually met in the criterion bar. We arenot in the criterion bar but we want to honor that so we’ve called it “thecriterion coffee bar”.
MG: Although by extraordinaryfate, in the pilot we did go to the Criterion Bar. It is beautiful, gorgeousand xxx interior that we couldn’t go back to.
SM:So yes you will see some of that “Criterionaction”. It’s not that clear it is the Criterion but there must be some…
MG: And here xxx morgue. (我无力了……)with our first hero shot of our hero.
SM:It’s very rare tointroduce a popular Sunday evening her by thrash the corpse of an old nice man.(MG: Not since xxx. )Yes I’ve already did miss marple(是我的错觉么听到了miss marple……).
SV:Yes. It’s not often it’s been filmed, isn’tit?
MG: don’t think it’s everbeen done this.
SM:Yes because it’s thefirst time he’s referred to in “the study of scarlet ” originally the Stanford character said, I’m not sure, his madness goes to beating the subject in the morgue room.
MG: Yes he’s actually areference he’s not even to think . So this is one of the joys for us for doingthis. This I might sound heretical to died in the blood addict. He’s actually… Thereare so many parts of the famous story that is actually hardly ever beentouched. Sometimes like that, never at all. But when I was by seven and I firstread “the study of scarlet” (yes, me too) I had an image of… I can stillimagine there was a picture which there wasn’t of Holmes thrashing corpse witha riding crop(听起来就是这样啊……) to extent the bruise of after dead. Youknow it’s full of xxx of those kind of incidences.
SM: “the study of scarlet”is marvelous. It was xxx for a Sherlock Holmes story that I read. And Iremember finding it so thrilling cause there is just this moment when hededuced instantly Afghanistan and of course xxx makes you way too xx to findout how. And he just keeps dragging you with his amazing deductions and what wasthat all about me.

听写是提高听力的最好手段啊。生词查一下不要跳过,就可以积少成多了。
