On Monday, March 28, Kix Brooks and Dr. Jonathan Gitlin presented the Tony Martell Lifetime Entertainment Achievement Award to Rascal Flatts at the TJ Martell Honors Gala in Nashville, TN. The event brought together business, medical, sports and entertainment industry leaders and celebrities to raise awareness and funds for innovative cancer research.
Over the last several years, Rascal Flatts have lent their name and donated their time to numerous charities, including the TJ Martell Foundation, the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, the Salvation Army, the American Red Cross and the Jason Foundation (which raises awareness of teen suxxcide), as well as the Make A Wish Foundation.
