这支来自德国的IRIDIO组合,由成员Valentina和Franz组成。他们两人在童年时就对音乐有了兴趣并表现出来惊人的天赋，后来相差不到一年时间里，他们分别担任了两个乐队的重任：VALENTINA于1998年当上了 “Beholder” 重金属乐队的主唱； FRANZ在1997年成为了“ Louisiana Train”布鲁斯乐队的一名键盘手。且都举行了音乐会，参加过一些知名的音乐节。俗谚道：志不同道不合。在POP & DANCE 的共同认识的交集下，他们坠入了爱河，并在2002年组建了他们的“IRIDIO”，寓意为他们所有的音乐经历和尝试混合的结果。电子乐的飘渺.迷幻,再加上VALENTINA的声音,仿佛让人置身仙境!真的是一支非常有实力的组合!
     2004年制作了这张融合性极强的Waves of life，FRANZ以他不可思议的乐感将各种音乐元素溶于一炉，我们在这张专辑里可以感受到歌特、凯尔特、部落人声甚至中国传统器乐的感染力，比如第8 曲The free ride of the spirit的中西合璧，另外还掺合了一些原始的部落人声和JAZZ桥段，虽然感觉有点不伦不类，但考虑到西方人对东方文化理解上的有限性，总体还能算是和谐动听的，由此可见FRANZ的编曲配乐功力委实不弱。而VALENTINA曾任某重金属乐队的主唱，声乐表现自然不可小觎，不管是主音还是背景人声，总让我想起Loreena McKennitt和Lisa Gerrard那种唱腔里流露出来的中世纪风格，特别是在第二曲Night prayer里VALENTINA的vocal和感人的吉他配合得天衣无缝，相当耐听，有此一曲，当可以买下这张专辑了。
