TyLoo will not be at the IEM5 World Championship due to a passport problem. We talk with Li "tb" Bingyuan about missing out on the event, but also about training in China and the construction of the new team.
TyLoo were supposed to show up in Hannover next week to attend the IEM5 World Championship, but as we all know, that won't be happening. The returning problem for Chinese teams, issues with either passport of visa, stroke once more and ruled out the possibility for the team to attend.
Li "tb" Bingyuan has been one of the Chinese team's best players last year, especially leaving his mark during e-Starts Seoul and MSI BEAT IT as TyLoo's best player on both occasions. We have now conducted an interview with him to hear his thoughts about missing the event and quizzed him about other interesting topics.
How do you guys feel about missing out on attending IEM5 World Championship?
We feel really bad, it was one of the biggest events of the year for us, it is a big disappointment that we can't attend this event.
Likan "KingZ" Luo had a passport problem, couldn't he or someone else had noticed that his passport had expired?
Well, not really. It wasn't his fault. Because of the new year and he didn't travel to any other countries, he only traveled in China. And when he checked his passports time limit, it was too late to apply for a new one.
A lot of times a Chinese team can't attend a tournament because they have problems getting visas. Why is it so hard to get visas?
Yes, that's true. I don't know really, people worry, that they won't be able to get visas. It really makes me angry, because we missed a lot of opportunities to play outside of China. There are always many unexpected problems.
What's the plan now when you won't attend IEM5 World Championship?
We will start training now, as we usually did. We will improve our game and we will wait for a new event.
What do you think about Na´Vi's 2010 success, SK's and fnatic's new line-ups?
Na`Vi was definitely the best team in 2010. Nothing much to add. They had self confidence and strength. About SK and fnatic, I have nothing to add, they changed players to get results and that's what matters.
When you guys play, you play with a lot of soul, enthusiasm and passion, always when you win a round, you put your hands up and you are very loud ingame. Where do you get the motivation to play like that?
It's just how the game should be played. We are really passionate players. We feel more powerful, when we are shouting and we boost each others morale by playing, that passionate and putting our hands up.

When the team lost the main AWP Xue "GoodRifle" Chao and ingame leader Zhengwei "alex" Bian, how did you react?
Everything comes to an end once. Of course GoodRifle and alex are very good players, we are also very good friends outside the game. Alex's retirement is something people feel very sorry for. I hope that our new team shows all the potential we have.
TyLoo added Yangbo "P1rate" Dai as the 5th player, with whom you won the IEM5 qualifier with, but he didn't stay in the team in the end, why?
P1rate left TyLoo for personal reasons and we feel very sorry that he left us. After all, we trained really intense together and now we need to start again.
After that you added Likan "KingZ" Luo as your 5th player. Why did you choose him?
He is very experienced, we need such players in our team, and now when he joined us he will be our new tactical leader.
In 2010, TyLoo didn't win any major titles. What are your goals this year?
To be in the top 3 of the world.
What's the reason behind why TyLoo couldn't be a solid top 5 team in 2010 ?
We always had some blunders at critical moments, we have to avoid these errors.
