Apparently, the 35-year-old singer flew to New York for Mark Owen's stag night, before laying down some new tunes at Electric Lady studios. According to that most reliable of witnesses – "a source" – the new material suggests that Williams may rejoin the band again. "Robbie wouldn't be happy performing old Take That songs that he had no part in. But if they can pen new tracks that they're all happy with, they'll record them and he'll be back with them on stage." Williams left Take That in 1995, when they were at the height of their powers. Then just 21, Williams went on to become one of the biggest pop stars in Britain, while other Take That members failed to establish successful solo careers. However, Williams's cheeky pop never managed to win over the American music industry and the star always seemed haunted by the acrimonious split with his old band. The thought of the five jamming together in – of all places – Jimi Hendrix's old studio might be a funny one, but this collaboration may repair some of the emotional damage. Of course, a cynic might suggest that the timing is the real story here. Williams is, after all, preparing to release Reality Killed the Video Star, his first album since the relative flop of 2006's Rudebox. Rejoining his old band, or even appearing to be getting along with them, would certainly score him vital PR points, especially as the singer's recent press focused on his growing a beard and hunting for aliens. Take That, on the other hand, haven't put a foot wrong since their re-formation in 2005. The show is to form part of a Children In Need concert, which is being held at the Royal Albert Hall and will also include performances by Snow Patrol, Lily Allen, Dizzee Rascal, Leona Lewis, Muse and Sir Paul McCartney. A source told the Daily Star that 'Could It Be Magic' might be the song through which the greatly-anticipated reformation is played out. "It's the gig where Robbie finally gets back with Take That. They're mates again and doing it for charity seems like the best way," the insider said. "Everyone fears Rob will change his mind. But he feels it's the right time." He asked me if I was Sure, and I said yes but didn't know if I wanted to go on stage. He said "Do what U want". So, I thought I'd just help out backstage. It's quite fun." Gary Barlow, later talked about how the fans would take the news - "All the fans we know always said that they would Never Forget the band when it was at full strength and I am Sure that they are going to be happy about this. It make take some time for everyone to get used to the idea, but with some Patience, we will be fine." Everything Changes, but it seems likely that all the fans that have taken time to Pray for this to happen, have got their wish.

【新闻·TakeThat】10月出书啦 Penguin signs Take That 20.04.09 World Rights to a photographic book by Take That have been acquired by Rowland White at Michael Joseph from Eugenie Furniss and Sol Parker at William Morris and Jonathan Wild at 10 Management. The book is to be published in two volumes and will celebrate the Take That story, from the formation of the band in 1990 right up to the present day. The images will include personal pictures, previously unseen images from the Take That archive, as well as specially commissioned, stunning new photography. The accompanying text will be written by the band. Jonathan Wild, on behalf of the band said: "The guys have wanted to do a book for a long time, but it was important that the timing, as well as the creative idea was right. They’re really looking forward to producing what will be a fantastic collector’s piece featuring imagery spanning almost two decades along with comment which is both honest and personal." White said: "The inspiring return of Take That has been pop's biggest and best good news story. And nothing short of astonishing. I'm very proud indeed that Penguin will be collaborating with the nation’s favourite band on this ground- breaking and enormously exciting project." The book will be published in October 2009 following the band’s summer tour.
