【还记得我吗？】Jay James Pledge Music众筹新专辑 New Album / UK TourPre-order now & become part of the exciting creative journey towards my new Album & UK Tour. Hi, Welcome to my first Pledge Campaign. Making an album is often a long process, someone once said it takes the majority of your life to write the first album and you better be prepared to double that for the second. As a music lover you usually just get the finished product, an album slickly packaged, professional and shrink wrapped for your pleasure. But you miss entirely the journey it took to get that finished product to you. I would like to change that. I have been writing this album for a number of years, one of the many reasons it’s taken so long is because of the want to do it right and for it to be a true representation of what I wanted and believed in (& not what a major record label wanted) for that reason and so many more I’ve decided to take on the scary but liberating idea of creating, crafting, recording and releasing this album Independently. In doing that, I would love your support. I’m hoping if you’ve taken the energy to come and visit, we’ve connected in a way that’s valid enough for you to pledge to pre-order my new album & exclusive items. I would love to involve you from the very beginning. I want you to be a witness to the entire process, from the very first note played, through every up and down as the days unfold, as each song comes together, as each lyric takes shape and as the first sketch of design comes out. In April I’m heading out on Tour around the UK with Alexander O’Neal, I’ll be trying out songs in order to get feedback to cement their place on the album. You will hear snippets of songs as they progress from first note to finished versions. When you pre-order the album, not only will you receive the new music and exclusive items when the album is ready, you’ll also have intimate access to exclusive things nobody else will. Hopefully, when the shrink wrapped album is eventually in your hands, you will feel a closer connection to it than any other album, purely and honestly because you help me create it.
