Some progress on the Vita bubble hack? BY WOLOLO · DECEMBER 2, 2014 /talk user kuin00 has posted today a technique to create bubbles on your Vita’s livearea. Katsu’s technique to do so previously required a PS3, but kuin00’s method lets you do it from your PC. Now before people jump on their high horses, this is just a cosmetic trick at this point: the “homebrews” created this way will not actually run. So what’s the point, you ask? Honestly, I am not entirely sure. It is obvious that people are trying to reproduce Qwikrazor87’s Vita bubble hack, and on the one hand I like to see some progress here, on the other hand I am concerned that this could jeopardize a potential release of Qwikrazor’s own work: if anything these people disclose happens to be patched by Sony, and used by Qwikrazor, the community as a whole can kiss the hack goodbye. Now, it’s been stated several times that qwikrazor’s hack requires initially an exploited game to start the process. although I cannot explain much due to my limited knowledge of the internals, and also because I’m not sure how much can be revealed, the bubbles, once installed, don’t really need a hack to work. Some people hope that this could mean you only need the hack once and can then update your vita to your heart’s content as long as the bubble homebrews are installed, but that would be assuming that Sony does not actually patch the tricks used to run these bubbles in the first place (and honestly, do you think that given the opportunity they would choose to not patch?) Back to kuin00’s work, is process on how to generate the bubbles is unfortunately unclear, due to English not being his main language. I would typically dig deeper, but given that he himself admitted that the trick is not useful in its current state, I’ll take a “wait and see” approach.
。。 Can the Vita “bubbles” get your account banned? BY WOLOLO · NOVEMBER 28, 2014 A few people have been recently playing with the Vita “bubble” hack. Although not all aspects of this hack are public now, a significant amount of people have been able to test Qwikrazor’s work, while other people such has katsu have published partial methods to achieve (currently limited) modifications of your games, andduplication of the bubble icons on your live area screen. Scene veteran GregoryRasputin mentioned concerns for people running these hacks, the risk of seeing your account, or your console, banned by Sony. Sony banning people who use hacks is not a new thing. They have banned people using CFW on the PS3 for a while now, with the explicit (and understandable) goal of banning cheaters: people who use hacked consoles to cheat in online gaming. BTW, did you know? Online cheat is something we hate so much here at wololo.net thatwe actually ban discussions on online cheating tools, in our forums. Let me be clear once again, because I think this is one of the only subjects where I agree with the typical gamer: People who cheat online deserve to be banned to oblivion by Sony. They ruin everyone’s experience, and as a bad sad effect they also give console hackers a terrible image everywhere. Back to the original topic: GregoryRasputin stated wisely that when your friends can see in your online status that you’re using “VHBL” or “TN-V launcher”, so can Sony. Eventually, they might be taking action against people using those things, or, at the very least, starting to monitor these accounts very carefully (and preemptively patch any hack that these people might be working on in the future, before even a release)Sony can ban accounts, or devices. A banned device cannot access the PSN anymore, and is as good as dead. The same is true for a banned account. Although GregoryRasputin stated that you can always create new accounts, and that a “banned account” is not as big a deal as a banned device, I’d argue that if you play stupid games with your main account, and end up losing hundreds, or thousands of dollars because of a ban, you’ll be pretty angry. Within hours, as if GregoryRasputin’s article had influenced the world’s karma engines, Katsu posted on the same day a screenshot of his PS vita being banned. banned vita pic.twitter.com/7LvLmeYmSq — xmax katsu (@xmaxkatsu) November 27, 2014 I contacted katsu to ask if his ban was in relation to his recent work on bubbles. He hasn’t replied yet, and unless he intentionally used an old banned account on that screenshot, it is likely nobody will ever truly know why he got banned. But his recent use of the “bubbles” could be a likely explanation. The bubbles do not interfere with Sony’s network, and in particular with online gaming. This is a very different situation from the PS3 CFW, where people got banned for cheating online and actually negatively impacting the PSN experience. It is tough to say if Sony will start using the ban hammer on Vita users (for bubbles – when that gets fully released – or anything else), or if this is just a fluke. Latest update and status of the Vita “bubble” hack BY WOLOLO · NOVEMBER 25, 2014 Yesterday, Katsu posted a series of steps and screenshots on how to create your own “bubble” on the PS Vita. The technique requires to have a PS Vita runningVHBL (or a custom firmware such as TN-V), and a PS3. After a series of manipulations involving renaming some files, adding a few others, backing-up some content from the Vita to the PS3 and vice versa, one is able to change the icon and name of a game they own on the Vita, as can be seen in katsu’s screenshots. You can find all the details here. For now this technique only seems to allow to change the icon and “name” of a game you purchased from the PSN, but katsu promised “homebrews” would be coming soon.I’ve myself been in touch with Qwikrazor87 on his own work with these “bubbles”, and rumor has it that Total_Noob is also working on some similar feature for a future release of TN-V. Qwikrazor87, in particular, has been making steady progress on this: over the past few weeks, Qwikrazor87 has found that he can do much more than was initially thought with his technique. Although some of his work involves file manipulation similar to what katsu has been showcasing, Qwikrazor has also been hard at work testing a variety of homebrews with his work, a step which required lots of tweaking to be widely compatible (static ELFs support, etc…). He’s also found techniques that allow a “duplication” of bubbles: the initial technique required to “waste” a PSP Mini for each homebrew you’d want to run. This wasn’t a big deal, people would just choose to run TN-V or VHBL as their “psp mini”, then run their favorite homebrew or isos from there. But now the possibility to run all homebrew directly from the Live Area sounds like even a better deal. Long story short, I’ve seen with my own eyes this technique running PSP isos and homebrews directly from the Live Area screen. Not only an icon and a name change. But there’s still work ongoing, and releasing “explanations” like what katsu has done today could run the risk of Sony patching this trick prematurely. Qwikrazor’s technique also requires an exploitable game. Installing the bubbles requires an initial “hack” that can only be run with an exploited game. That game is only needed to install the bubbles initially, but not later on to actually launch the bubble games. In a sense, it means making the method public could also be seen as a waste: if it requires an exploit in the first place, why wouldn’t people just use the exploit to run homebrews with the regular VHBL, instead of using this technique (I mean, true, it is convenient…) The video below showcases Qwikrazor’s bubbles running a few homebrews on my 3.35 vita: FTP Vita, PSP Filer, and Wagic.
Nintendo 3DS Exploit game revealed! – Smealum’s exploit game is… BY THE Z · NOVEMBER 18, 2014 … the Nintendo 3DS game ‘Cubic Ninja‘! Smealum said that it does not matter if you are using the retail (cartridge) version of the game, or if you buy it from the Nintendo eShop. Smea added that the game only exists in the japanese eShop, so a retail cartridge will to be your choice for this exploit, I assume. The game is usually around 7/10$, but this will most likely change very very soon! (Note from wololo: in Japan the game can be found around 1800 to 3000 yen) Update from wololo: since this piece of news was posted one hour ago, the price of the game has been multiplied by 2.5 on Amazon and other sites. If history serves well, I wouldn’t be surprised to see it go up to $80 within 24h Keep in mind that retail versions of exploit games will be sold out very fast and people will buy multiple versions of the game to re-sell them for double or thrice the price! The exploit should be working with any kind of regional version of the game, be it a northern american, an european, a german, a japanese or an australian version. It should work as long as your 3DS region matches the games region (e.g. an european 3DS with an european 3DS game). But what can we do with it, and which firmwares and devices does it support? This is a classic savedata exploit, like we know it from our beloved PS Vita or from the older days of the PSP. You have to buy (retail or digital shop version) a necessary exploit game in order to run the exploit on your device. You can NOT download it for free from the internet and people can not share their version of the game with you, if they have a digital version (retail works, though). You HAVE TO BUY the exploit game, otherwise you can not use this exploit on your Nintendo 3DS. The exploit is confirmed to work on all Nintendo 3DS system software versions, as of version 9.2.0-20, and should also support any of the hardware revisions of the ‘3DS family’. This would include the Nintendo 3DS, 3DS XL, 2DS, New 3DS and theNew 3DS XL. Basically any Nintendo handheld device that can play 3DS games is supported. But what can we do with this exploit? If you remember the Wii Homebrew channel, which is a similar styled launcher, for all kind homebrews, as our well known VHBL, then you will most likely know what the 3DS Homebrew launcher will be able to do. Smealum’s exploit is a userland exploit that allows us to execute homebrews via the 3DS Homebrew channel. It does not enable piracy in form of NDS or 3DS ROMs, but it will enable you to use cool homebrews and classic emulators for older systems, e.g. St4rk’s 3DNES emulator. What else it will enable you to do on your 3DS will be known when the files have been officially released. Those files will be released in near future, similar to our behavior with keeping the files for a few days, until Sony removes the ninja release exploit games. We will inform you when the files have been released and will explain how to actually use the files and execute the exploit on your Nintendo 3DS device. This truely has been a cubical ninja release, ehh? No one..? Okay. Source via Smea’s Twitter.

The current status of Vita hacking on firmwares 3.30 and 3.35 by wololo · November 16, 2014 There’s lots of excitement going on around the native vita hack for owners of a Vita up to firmware 3.18 included. vitasploit, memtools_vita, etc… But if you updated to one of the latest 3.3x firmwares (by choice or not), you’re probably feeling the hard cold wind of “we don’t care about you” from the scene right now. Well, don’t get too desperate though. Hackers are always looking for new solutions, and just because many of them chose to stay on lower firmwares because that’s the best thing to do for investigation purposes, it does not mean they’re not thinking of upper firmwares. Ultimately, anything we learn about the Vita on firmware 3.18 and lower, will help the hacking community dig deeper into further firmwares. With that being said, this could be a long time before anything happens on this front for the latest firmwares. However, not all hope is lost. the ePSP scene is still hard at work to get good ol’ VHBL and TN-V up and running on the latest firmwares. There’s of course the recent “Bubble exploit” from Qwikrazor, which I have tried, and I confirm it rocks. But I’m also afraid it could be reasonably simply patched by Sony. Nevertheless, it’s a very cool thing and I think Qwikrazor has plans to release it eventually.Screenshot from Heleius Even without that, we have been given countless confirmations that “typical” game-triggered exploits still exist on the PSP emulator of the latest Vita firmware. People have also confirmed that despite the massive leak that happened in September, some kernel exploits and game exploits are still available, giving me some hope that a future TN-V or VHBL release is not out of the question. Keep in mind that these things take time. Not so long ago, it was still believed that the typical entry vectors for VHBL and TN-V had been patched by Sony. Hackers have now found new entry points for those. One step back, one step forward… as always. Bottom line is, the question is not “if”, but “when”. That is, of course, up to the devs of these exploits to make that decision.
3DS: Smealum to release the ssspwn exploit next week? by wololo · November 15, 2014 In a subtle-but-not-too-much way, Smealum has announced a few days ago that his ssspwn exploit (and associated homebrew loader) will be released next week (screenshot below). The release of this exploit has been delayed by several months, after Nintendo announced the New 3DS. Smealum wanted to confirl his exploit would run fine on the new device. Which it does. This is a big week for the 3DS scene: Smealum’s announcement comes in the context of new rom loading card “Sky3DS” and its clones just going on sale this week that enable piracy on the latest 3DS firmware; as well as Gateway 3DS announcing recently that they will soon be supporting the latest firmwares 9.xx as well (Gateway3DS cards were until now only compatible up to firmware 4.5… it is worth mentioning that their support on 9.xx might not be as complete as the features they offer on 4.xx, as they recommend people to stay on 4.5 if possible) It will be interesting to see if Smealum’s release shortcuts the hardware solutions. Although an educated guess tells me those flashcarts will do just fine, given how Smealum has stated several times that his hack will not enable rom supports (at least out of the box).I’m personally of course much more excited by a homebrew solution, and the technical details of the hacks behind it, than a DRM protected piracy solution (which to me ruins the whole point of being a tinkering hobbyist in the first place). Smealum’s solution will also not be totally free, as it relies on an exploit in a game, that people will need to purchase in order to trigger the exploit. It is a possibility that once the exploit is announced, Nintendo will remove it from their digital store, leaving people to fight for physical copies of the game. PSP owners might remember how copies of the game GTA: Liberty City stories went up to almost $200 in Japan once it was known this was “the” exploitable game (how ironic that with the Vita we discovered hundreds of exploitable PSP games). Are you excited by Smealum’s upcoming release?
Vita native hack: vitasploit released by Hykem by wololo · November 14, 2014 Native vita hack news keep coming for those of you who managed to keep their Vita in firmware 3.18 or under. Yesterday, developer Hykem released his own set of tools to leverage the Webkit exploit on the PS Vita . (If you don’t know who Hykem is, just know that he’s been on the scene for quite some time now, and has experience on lots of Sony’s stuff). Download links at the bottom of the article Vitasploit is an attempt at merging all the ongoing efforts (memtools_vita, JSoS Module Dumper, akai,…) and improving on them. Hykem says some of the code has been cleaned up, and made more generic (“The scripts can be used for both memory reading/writing and ROP code execution by changing a single variable.”). Additionally, he plans to port the scripts to as many firmwares as possible (3.30+ owners, remember, we’re talking of an exploit that works up to 3.18 here. When you read “as many firmwares as possible”, it means anything at 3.18 or below!), with the ultimate goal of reverse engineering various versions of the modules, to understand what has changed, and maybe find even more vulnerabilities, or understand how the NID poisoning was implemented (that was apparently added in firmware 2.xx)Screenshot thanks to @HarryKnucklez Hykem also released a full list of the modules that can be dumped through the exploit, with BBalling1/nas’s work: SceAacenc.seg0.bin SceAacenc.seg1.bin SceAppUtil.seg0.bin SceAppUtil.seg1.bin SceAtrac.seg0.bin SceAtrac.seg1.bin SceAvcodecUser.seg0.bin SceAvPlayer.seg0.bin SceAvPlayer.seg1.bin SceBeisobmf.seg0.bin SceBeisobmf.seg1.bin SceBemp2sys.seg0.bin SceBemp2sys.seg1.bin SceClipboard.seg0.bin SceClipboard.seg1.bin SceCommonDialog.seg0.bin SceCommonDialog.seg1.bin SceDriverUser.seg0.bin SceDriverUser.seg1.bin SceFiber.seg0.bin SceFiber.seg1.bin SceGpuEs4User.seg0.bin SceGpuEs4User.seg1.bin SceGxm.seg0.bin SceGxm.seg1.bin SceHafnium.seg0.bin SceHafnium.seg1.bin SceHandwriting.seg0.bin SceHandwriting.seg1.bin SceIme.seg0.bin SceIme.seg1.bin SceLibc.seg0.bin SceLibc.seg1.bin SceLibDbg.seg0.bin SceLibDbg.seg1.bin SceLibFios2.seg0.bin SceLibFios2.seg1.bin SceLibft2.seg0.bin SceLibft2.seg1.bin SceLibGameUpdate.seg0.bin SceLibGameUpdate.seg1.bin SceLibHttp.seg0.bin SceLibHttp.seg1.bin SceLibKernel.seg0.bin SceLibKernel.seg1.bin SceLibLocation.seg0.bin SceLibLocation.seg1.bin SceLibLocationExtension.seg0.bin SceLibLocationExtension.seg1.bin SceLibMp4Recorder.seg0.bin SceLibMp4Recorder.seg1.bin SceLibNetCtl.seg0.bin SceLibNetCtl.seg1.bin SceLibPgf.seg0.bin SceLibPgf.seg1.bin SceLibPspnetAdhoc.seg0.bin SceLibPspnetAdhoc.seg1.bin SceLibPvf.seg0.bin SceLibPvf.seg1.bin SceLibRudp.seg0.bin SceLibRudp.seg1.bin SceLibSsl.seg0.bin SceLibSsl.seg1.bin SceLibVitaJSExtObj.seg0.bin SceLibVitaJSExtObj.seg1.bin SceLibXml.seg0.bin SceLibXml.seg1.bin SceLiveAreaUtil.seg0.bin SceLiveAreaUtil.seg1.bin SceMp4.seg0.bin SceMp4.seg1.bin SceMusicExport.seg0.bin SceMusicExport.seg1.bin SceNearDialogUtil.seg0.bin SceNearDialogUtil.seg1.bin SceNearUtil.seg0.bin SceNearUtil.seg1.bin SceNet.seg0.bin SceNet.seg1.bin SceNetAdhocMatching.seg0.bin SceNetAdhocMatching.seg1.bin SceNgsUser.seg0.bin SceNgsUser.seg1.bin SceNotificationUtil.seg0.bin SceNotificationUtil.seg1.bin SceNpActivity.seg0.bin SceNpActivity.seg1.bin SceNpBasic.seg0.bin SceNpBasic.seg1.bin SceNpCommerce2.seg0.bin SceNpCommerce2.seg1.bin SceNpCommon.seg0.bin SceNpCommon.seg1.bin SceNpManager.seg0.bin SceNpManager.seg1.bin SceNpMatching2.seg0.bin SceNpMatching2.seg1.bin SceNpMessage.seg0.bin SceNpMessage.seg1.bin SceNpPartyGameUtil.seg0.bin SceNpPartyGameUtil.seg1.bin SceNpScore.seg0.bin SceNpScore.seg1.bin SceNpSignaling.seg0.bin SceNpSignaling.seg1.bin SceNpSnsFacebook.seg0.bin SceNpSnsFacebook.seg1.bin SceNpTrophy.seg0.bin SceNpTrophy.seg1.bin SceNpTus.seg0.bin SceNpTus.seg1.bin SceNpUtility.seg0.bin SceNpUtility.seg1.bin ScePhotoExport.seg0.bin ScePhotoExport.seg1.bin ScePsp2Compat.seg0.bin ScePsp2Compat.seg1.bin SceSasUser.seg0.bin SceSasUser.seg1.bin SceScreenShot.seg0.bin SceShellSvc.seg0.bin SceShellSvc.seg1.bin SceShutterSound.seg0.bin SceSqlite.seg0.bin SceSqlite.seg1.bin SceSystemGesture.seg0.bin SceSystemGesture.seg1.bin SceTeleportClient.seg0.bin SceTeleportClient.seg1.bin SceTeleportServer.seg0.bin SceVideoExport.seg0.bin SceVideoExport.seg1.bin SceVoice.seg0.bin SceVoice.seg1.bin SceVoiceQoS.seg0.bin SceVoiceQoS.seg1.bin SceWebFiltering.seg0.bin SceWebFiltering.seg1.bin SceWebKit.seg0.bin SceWebKit.seg1.bin SceWebKitProcess.seg0.bin SceWebKitProcess.seg1.bin Hykem invites everyone to contribute to the code. What are those VHBL/TN-V bubble thingies on Vita firmware 3.35??? BY WOLOLO · NOVEMBER 11, 2014 So, you might have seen a few people on twitter, teasing you with a VHBL or a PSP XMB (understand: TN-V) bubble, running directly from the Vita live area. Yeah, I’m talking about you, The Z So, tricking the Vita into somehow installing VHBL or TN-V is now a thing. There’s more: it apparently doesn’t require to buy any game. This was already discussed a few weeks agohere, but Qwikrazor explained that the method used here is novel. Wow, let me fast rewind here. A PSP exploit, that doesn’t require a game purchase, and that runs on Firmware 3.35? This sounds like a pretty big deal! Check the video below from The Z to see for yourself. The PS Vita is running a “Half Byte Loader” bubble. An exploit on its own, no bought exploit game necessary for this. –The Z I know some people think we’re “past” the psp emulator hacks, and that it’s high time the scene moved to native hacks (which, as you know, is also a thing), but, forgive me if I say that this looks pretty awesome, and gets me excited.Screenshot from Heleius Several members of the Vita/ePSP scene are in possession of this trick/hack, which was apparently devised(设计) by Qwikrazor87. They are all prettysecretive(秘密的) about the whole thing, and there is no mention of a release at this point. Which I understand. This looks like it could lead to even more exciting things than “only” VHBL or TN-V, and it also looks like a “once in a console’s lifetime” bug that Sony would instantly patch. The rumors say that this is related to signing some PSP packages, and somehow tricking the Vita into installing some code that contains a PSP exploit, leading to running VHBL/TN-V. Sounds pretty awesome, but I must admit I am surprised that this does not seem to require any purchase. As the Z and Qwikrazor told me, there is no plan for a release of this thing at this point, but it shows that the scene still has some tricks up its sleeve. Wow, both the ePSP scene still in action, and Native hacks going on. Turns out the end of the year is getting quite packed for the Vita!

The tool is becoming much more of a “community” project and has also received significant contributions from several other devs. Codelion recently bumped the version to 0.3.2, which he says could be a candidate for a “version 1.0〃 (meaning he’s happy with the features and stability, I assume) Changes since we last talked about this tool include hex Search, reverse Search (contributed by @MrNetrix), support for Kernel support, and many, many stability improvements and bug fixes.Credits Contributors to memtools_vita’s code are, in addition to CodeLion: @hgoel0974, @Josh_Axey, @Archaemic, @MrNetrix, @Aquynh, @PureIso, and “a good friend”. Davee and Yifanlu are also thanked in the credits for help and hints. Testers: @psxdev, @logomorph, @Macia10, @smoke587. As a reminder, this tool relies on the webkkit vita exploit, which requires a PS vita 3.18 or lower to run.
Vita webkit hack: Codelion releases memtools_vita BY WOLOLO · OCTOBER 26, 2014 Developer Codelion (a.k.a. @BBalling1), one of the main people behind the recently revealed webkit exploit on the Vita, just released an advanced tool for developers who want to play with the exploit. More specifically, memtools_vita allows developers to dump the content of the modules used from within the webkit process on the Vita. In order to do so, you’ll need to run Codelion’s special python server, and access your computer’s local IP with the Vita, on port 8888. The readme explains it all, however let me emphasize once again that this is not a release for “end users”, but for developers. The tools around this exploit are still quite crude, and I am sure many developers are working on their own sets of tools. CodeLion mentions however that this could help people to start doing some significant reverse engineering and ROP. From the readme: Allows to play with the Vita’s webkit process’ memory through by leveraging a webkit vuln. Autoresolve is a little iffy, supports no special cases and skips alot of modules because it crashes (reading invalid memory) Known issues: Does not dump the data section, only executable code. IDA does not like that, but its enough for ROP and some reversing. Now if you’ll excuse me, I think I have a python server to put in place on my PC…
Incoming VHBL port for Firmware 3.30? BY WOLOLO · OCTOBER 25, 2014 It was easy to miss a VHBL announcement in the sea of “Native exploit” updates we received over the past few days. Sony has put some additional security on firmware 3.30, that made hackers initially think that a VHBL port (or any other ePSP hack on the Vita) would be much more difficult to achieve moving forward. But hope appeared when Japanese developer 173210 showed a running hello world on Vita firmware 3.30, 2 weeks ago. In a follow up to this progress, the Z, who seems to always know the exact right people, showcased last week a VHBLport running on a PS Vita with firmware 3.30. In the video below, The Z is testing his traditional list of homebrews: Masterboy(a.k.a EmuMaster) to run a Gameboy color game (yes, you’ve guessed it, a Pokémon game, of course!), GPSP (gameboy advance emulator) where he runs another Pokémon game, Snes9xTYL to test Zelda on the popular Super Nes emulator, and finally Wagic. As the Z states in his video description, it is not recommended at this point to update your PS Vita to firmware 3.30, if you are running on lower firmwares such as 3.18 or 3.20. These firmwares, at this point, offer a much more advanced support in terms of hacking, through the use of a kernel exploit that was patched in firmware 3.30, and that allows to run TN-V, a “custom firmware” which allows much more than VHBL, which is “only” able to load homebrews. Additionally, firmwares 3.18 and 3.30 are compatible with the recently released, promising, webkit exploit; while firmware 3.30 is not. No word on a release for this 3.30 exploit yet. In other news, a VHBL port has been confirmed by KanadeEngel as well, and it might, or might not be the same port (I’m sure they will confirm). As usual, stay tuned. If something needs to be released, we will most likely have a ninja release, as usual! And yes, waiting for more than a week to mention this is like an eternity for this scene, but I honestly thought The Z would have written this article himself :p Source: The Z
BY WOLOLO · OCTOBER 24, 2014 Developers nas and proxima have extended the recently released Vita Webkit exploit, and made it compatible with the latest PS4 firmware, firwmare 1.76.(Update: Proxima actually clarified that although this is the same webkit exploit, it was developed in parallel to the Vita exploit, and not “based” on it) Their proof of concept code provides several samples, including a module dumper and some tool to create more advanced ROP code. I am not close to my PS4 right now and cannot confirm if the Proof of Concept actually works, but the code looks perfectly legit, the devs behind this have a great track of record, and it should be a matter of minutes now for other people to confirm that this indeed works. This webkit exploit, just like in the case of the same exploit for the Vita revealed last week, will not be extremely useful to the end user, except to confirm that their PS4 is indeed exploitable. It does however seem to provide some basic tools for developers who want to explore its functionality, and, more importantly, it is the first public entry point into PS4 hacking ever, which is a massive breakthrough. This piece of news comes just as Sony have announced upcoming firmware 2.00, which will be released next week. It goes without saying that if you have expectations to use the hack that just got released, it might be wise to not update your PS4. Where to test this? I have uploaded the proof of concept pages here, you can point your PS4 to these urls, and report: 网址会被吞所以和谐 Of course as soon as I have the possibility, I’ll be testing those myself. Download The full files, sources, etc.. from nas and proxima for this PS4 1.76 webkit exploit can be downloaded here. You can discuss this more at the source: nas on /talk
