【重大新闻】Daz与Sony/ATV公司签订了出版协议！ Darren Hayes Signs New Publishing Deal by Paul Cashmere - August 25 2009 photo by Ros O'Gorman London based Aussie singer/songwriter Darren Hayes has signed a world wide publishing deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing. This was the first time Hayes has been free to sign a publishing deal since his avalanche of hits from Savage Garden. “The decision to sign with SATV is testament to the high level of mutual trust and respect established between Darren and SATV,” says Sony/ATV Managing Director Damian Trotter. “Representing one of Australia's most talented and successful ever songwriters, and a million seller in his own right, is an honour we don’t take lightly " Hayes added; “When the catalogue was sold to Sony ATV Australia I was assured that the songs had found a great new home and now that I’ve spent time working with the Australian and UK team, I am certain they have. It's a great period in my life and career and I feel encouraged and flattered that Sony ATV have shown such commitment to my future solo material”. Darren will start work on his next album in Australia in September. “I'm so excited that I'll be able to come home to Australia and record some of my new music there and involve some familiar talent on my record that I haven't worked with since the debut Savage Garden album,” he says. “I'm keen to get this new album finished and get out on the road in Australia and say thank you to everyone who has stood by me over the years”. Hayes has also been writing for other artists for the first time in his career. 有一点诡异的歌。。。在Daz的Spin专辑里，有首歌叫“Heart Attack” It was written & dedicated to Michael Jackson. 这首歌无论是曲风还是唱腔都有点模仿MJ 今天突然发现，那个歌名，正是MJ的死因。有点诡异。。。

谈谈我对daz新专辑的感受新专辑的歌听了三首半了，突然很想谈一下我的感受，首先非常非常感谢daz没有用电音处理，上一张TTATS最让我不满意的就是什么歌都要电音处理，连DUBLIN SKY这种唯美至极的情歌都不能听到他的原音。daz的声音就是最好的乐器了，真的不能做任何修饰，其实连音乐修饰都不需要，我觉得他清唱是最美滴了，悉尼演唱会上清唱的IKILY，最后的尾音听得我差点灵魂出窍。我估计偶有恋物癖倾向，迷恋daz的嗓子，除了他的声音别人我都无法忍受，电脑里，MP3里，手机铃声，彩铃，同事的手机MP3里，全部都是daz，除了他的歌，我还很喜欢他说话的声音，也收藏了一大堆采访的音频。daz是个天使，虽然上帝把这嗓子赐给了他，但是我可以随时随地的拥有他的声音，简直是太幸福了。我一直有一件事特别好奇，有机会见到他一定要亲口问问，他自己听到的自己的声音是什么样子的，（如果有人不明白我在这里解释一下，每个人听自己的声音和别人听到的声音是不同滴，因为自己听是通过头部骨骼传播，别人听是通过空气传播的），这世界上只有daz本人有这个能力听了，真想知道有什么区别，哪个更好听。

大家有没有听过新版UNLOVABLE？超级惊艳＋惊喜啊！早就看到darren的官网提供了unlovable的free download，不过一直没有进去，我以为是unlovable的MV来的。昨天去savageboy的资料馆搜宝，得知提供的那首歌是新的清唱版本，于是赶紧去下载了。但是上班时没法听，发给群里的朋友试听，据说效果非常好，背景音乐很轻柔，和清唱差不多，害的我心痒痒的回到家赶紧欣赏，天哪，真是给我两个个巨大的惊喜啊！第一，爱死了darren的声音，近乎清唱的状态下，他的声音简直是无法用语言来形容的勾魂。这首歌歌词太感人，唱的太动情，几乎是一举拿下我的心，甚至取代了insatiable在我心里自以为永恒的地位。第二，突然发现他改了歌词，把最关键的这几句Am I so unlovable?Is my skin untouchable?Do I remind you of a part of you that you don't like?改成了过去式惊喜加感动，他现在应该是很开心和幸福，我突然对耿耿于怀两天的Richard有了好感，谢谢他给了darren快乐，真的希望他们永远快乐。这首歌完全赶走了这几天的郁闷，现在我一边打字一边微笑，心也在笑，在遥远的伦敦，darren也在笑吧，期待他的新歌。p.s.为了表达我的心情，昨晚录了一首歌， I don't know you anymore ，唱滴不好，出来献丑了ftp://download:[email protected]/i_don't_know_you_anymore(cover_summer).mp3
