【Honey★0203分享】OPPA泰国媒体见面会答记者问全纪录来源:泰国粉丝会FB专页 Q: Thai fans have called you ‘Oppa’ since the drama ‘Autumn In My Heart’ until now. What do you feel? SSH: I didn’t know that fans call me ‘Oppa’ because of the character in ‘Autumn In My Heart’. I thought Thai fans call everyone ‘Oppa’ so they call me as well. I feel happy and honored. In the family, I’m the youngest so no one calls me Oppa. When I come to Thailand, I’m surprised as everyone calls me that. When I go to other countries such as Japan, China, fans mostly call me by the name. I’m happy and want to be called ‘Oppa’ forever. Q: Visiting Thailand this time, do you have any surprise for Thai fans? SSH: I have come to Thailand 3-4 times just for work and didn’t have time to meet or get close to fans. This time I also came for shooting the movie and I want to meet them so I decided to have the Fan-Meeting. I didn’t prepare anything much special but what fans want to know about me, I will answer all. I want to talk openly with fans so I think this is the surprise from me for the fans. Q: ‘Autumn in My Heart’ is already remade into Thai Version, What other dramas of yours do you want to be remade? SSH: I still don’t know what drama should be remade. Talking about ‘Autumn In My Heart’, I heard that there is the famous Thai star (Tik Jetsadaporn) plays my character in the remake version. I’m happy. If there is a chance, I also want to star in Thai drams/movies in Thailand. Q: Suppose you go shopping and there are Thai fans calling you ‘Oppa’. What will you do? SSH: Waving at them (smile). If possible, I want to buy them delicious foods :) Q: You mostly play romantic roles. Are you a romantic man? SSH: People may think I’m a romantic, nice, warm man like in the series but actually I’m not like that. I’m a shy person and can rarely express feelings. However, if I have a lover, I’m sure I can love her sincerely and seriously. Q: Do you have to lose your weight for the movie ‘Human Addiction’? If so, how many kilograms? SSH: I didn’t intend to lose weight. I play the character as the soldier so the director wants me to have a face a bit piercing. I just focus on the face and didn’t lose weight. Q: When choosing to work in any project, do you decide base on what reasons? SSH: I’m not picky. When choosing the work, the word ‘fun’ has many meanings. It is not necessary to be funny or hilarious. I will choose what I think it can communicate well and audiences can understand and also have the same feeling as mine. Q: Is your personality similar to My Princess’s character? SSH: Everyone has already known that most of the roles I used to play are quite tough but cool and handsome. In My Princess, the character is cheerful and bright. It is my first romantic comedy. The background of this character, he and his family are very rich and wealthy which is different from me. But the hilarity or some personalities are similar to me the most compared to other roles. Q: When you feel tired and discouraged, how do you cope with these feelings? SSH: I’m not feeling like tired. My body is of course tired but I’m not discouraged. I am rarely asked by this question. The question I’m often asked is that what I want to do in life. My answer is I want to hold hands with my lover walking along the street. It may be normal for everyone but I never have a chance to do like this before because I have been working in the entertainment industry since I was in high school. Let’s go back to the first question about the time I feel tired. I don’t usually think too much and worry over things. If I’m tired I will meet my friends who I know them since young. Whenever we meet, my friends don’t think me as an actor SSH but they think that I’m their friend, SSH who grew up together. When I meet friends I feel relaxed. I love friends. Q: What is your ideal type? SSH: I have talked about this question before. As I said, I was in very deep love before. It's like thunder clapping to my ears. I also used to have serious relationship that thought about marrying. However, the result was not good. Now it's quite hard to seek a new love but if I meet the right person now, I'm ready to love her. I'm serious about relationship and my ideal type is a person who is warm, like similar hobbies, who we can communicate/understand each other. Q: In your opinion, what is the charm of Korean series? What do you expect from the Korean entertainment industry in the future? SSH: First of all, I want to thank you for your love and interest for Korean series. Before I used to think that as an actor, my duty is to act. However, I received the letters from fans saying that they watched my series and felt so touched. They like them so much and they started to watch Korean series because of me. From that, I know people pay interest to my work and always support me. Therefore, I want to do better and better in acting. Fans give me an encouragement to work hard. Q: How do you take care of yourself to look handsome all the time like this even so many years pass? SSH: I don’t have special trick in taking care of myself but there used to be one person asking what is the most important thing in my life. I answered that my health is the most important. Health can’t be bought by money. People may think that we have to look good, look handsome but I think health is the most important. Money or assets are not important compared to good health. Q: If you have one free day, what do you want to do the most? SSH: Actors rarely have free time. Other people may work Monday-Friday and have weekend. But actors, when you have works, that time you will be very busy. If you don’t have work, you are totally free. The same to others, when I’m free I go meet friends, enjoying time, play golf, football. Q: What is your plan in 2014? SSH: I’m preparing for the new movie ‘Human Addiction’ which will be released around April or May. I hope it will have the good result. Also, before the press I had the interview. There was the question asking if you have a chance to star in Thai drama or movie with 3 Thai actresses including Aum Patcharapa, Pancake Khemanit, Mai Davika, who will I choose?. If possible, I would like to work with all 3 actresses. Thank you everyone for giving me the opportunity to have the 1st Fan-Meeting in Thailand and to get close with fans. I also want to say ‘Happy New Year 2014’ to everyone although many days passed already. Thank you fans so much, I didn’t visit Thailand for many years but fans still welcome me warmly. In year 2014 wish everyone good health. Happy New Year again :)
