Chapter 105 Spoilers Title: A Maiden's Invite Coincidentally Becomes A Paragon for "X"Text Based Seeing how Nariyuki is coming home pretty late recently, Mizuki invited Uruka to her school to both act as a special advisor for her club, and to ask how her brother has been at school recently. Mizuki feared that it could've been the works of some bad bugs (referring to Fumino and others), to which Uruka took it literally. Later date, Nariyuki was studying at Uruka's place, where Uruka had the following plan for Nariyuki to recover his energy: 1.) Warm the body up with Kotatsu 2.) Recover stamina with Gyoza loaded with garlic 3.) Relief stress with funny videos 4.) Foot Massage (with her own foot) to relieve fatigue. All of which made Nariyuki think Uruka's coming on to him, although the last one left him in pain instead. Uruka then asked if he had talked to his family about his future path, especially with the cost aspect. Nariyuki planned to talk about it after he had saved a bit more up to lessen the burden, to which Uruka called him out on it. Uruka then told Nariyuki that, in this world, there's a lot of things that can't be done by kids' own power alone, which is why they should rely on adults, be thankful, and pay them back in many folds in the future. Uruka asked if Nariyuki wants to be an educator like his father. Nariyuki was shocked by this as he doesn't remember that he had mentioned anything about his father, to which Uruka said that she had asked Mizuki about it. Uruka told Nariyuki that she really likes the Nariyuki who cares for his family, but in order for him to be happy, he should rely on his surroundings because lots of people wants to help Nariyuki as well. After the study session, Nariyuki went home while mentally thanking Uruka's word. As he entered the restroom to refresh himself before talking to his mother about his future, he sees Mafuyu in front of him, who just got out of the shower.

Chapter 102 Spoilers Title: The Ice Flower Dances with "X" In The Evenfall③ Text Based: With the help of Miharu, who got Mafuyu an outfit to wear and an ice skating rink for them to use, Nariyuki asked the latter a private lesson on how to ice skate. Though Mafuyu told him that he should spend his time studying instead, Nariyuki replied that he knows she's stuck on what to do, but he thinks, based on Uruka's suggestion, that it might be a good idea to think after exercising with everything she got. Just as Mafuyu is about to take the first step back to the rink, however, she cowered once more. Nariyuki remembered that there should be music when figure skating. As the piano's sound filled the arena, Mafuyu continued talking about how she has no right to step into the rink anymore, along with additional self-depreciation. It was then when Mafuyu recognized the play style, and realized that it was Hino who was playing the music. Over the phone, Hino revealed that she's a pianist for an indies band, and was having fun. Hino thanked Mafuyu for what she had done for her, and basically denied Mafuyu's self-depreciation. Hino then commented how Mafuyu is being loved by her student, seeing how Nariyuki seemed to went to a lot to find the former, to which Nariyuki tripped... had Mafuyu not saved him. As Mafuyu taught Nariyuki how to skate, the former asked what does he want her to do from now on. Nariyuki replied that while he doesn't want her to quit teaching, but he's fine with either path, and wants to make her happy. Hino, upon hearing that commented that it'd be a pretty thorny path, but wished them happiness after he graduates...as she play the wedding march, to the dismay of the two. Mafuyu returned to school at a later date, to the relief of Nariyuki and Uruka. Mafuyu, upon seeing Nariyuki, thought how he is just like his father, both are there for others, rather clumsy, and straightforward. On the rooftop, after calling Miharu regarding her decision on figure skating, Mafuyu called her mother for the first time in ages.

Next day, however, she's being recogninzed left and right, and is being chased around town when Nariyuki saved her. After wearing a disguise, Mafuyu is shown a different video by Nariyuki, where her past as a legendary figure skater is revealed, and her current self is being compared to. (The video also has over 10 million views). Though Mafuyu planned to just go home after the event in the cafe, Miharu called the former, revealing that her apartment is swarmed by fans of hers. Thus, Mafuyu and Nariyuki spent the whole day together, such as going to a game center, bowling alley, and going shopping. At the end of the day, Mafuyu reflected on what happened today, and how she never got the chance to do these in the past, before correcting that what happened was not a date. Mafuyu then changed subject on Nariyuki's path, saying that she doesn't not approve of his decision. The reason is that he'll be throwing something that he worked hard on to accumulate for a moment of impulse, and asked if he's really okay with that. Nariyuki replied that whether it will be fun or not, or if it's a mistake or not, he won't know until he see it to the end. He has decided that he'll live honestly with his how he feels. This lead to a flashback of when Mafuyu was still a high school student, when he met a man with half of his face covered, saying essentially the same thing to her. Miharu called again. This time, it's about how the Ice Show where she'll be going next is giving Mafuyu an offer to also participate in. Miharu is ecstatic because she knows Mafuyu will definitely leave a great impression, and will be in great demand. And with that, she'll no longer need to keep idoling her time away continuing down her path as a teacher. Though Nariyuki is also ecstatic for her, Mafuyu is a loss, and asked Nariyuki what should she do...

As Nariyuki planned to study a bit, Asumi, in a nurse outfit, told him that he needs to rest, all while teasing him on her cosplaying as a nurse. Asumi then gave him a back rub, and revealed that she also knows about him rejecting the recommendation. She asked if he's overdoing this. Nariyuki revealed the path he has chosen does not necessary mean he'll get a job right away, so he wants to save up a bit to lessen the burden on his family. Asumi then realized that otherwise, he'd feel inferior for his decision, to the shock of Nariyuki. Asumi tickled Nariyuki while telling him not to burden himself so hard, but the tickle got a bit intense that the both got into a bit of a compromising position. Dr. Kominami saw the whole thing, much to the displease of Asumi. Hearing a knock at the front door, Dr. Kominami and Asumi got back to work, and took care of Kana's sister. As Nariyuki and Asumi saw Dr. Kominami seeing his patients leave, Asumi told him that she's basically chasing after her father's path. She continued with saying that if the path he chose is one that he wants bet his life on to learn, then there's no need to feel inferior. Asumi then said that if, hypothetically, they are a family, she'd tell him "live as you wish, idiot." Dr. Kominami heard what Asumi said, and asked if by family, she meant as his bride, to the anger of the latter.
