伦敦(加拿大)塔台术语 London Tower Phraseology NAV CANADA – London ATC – Commonly Used Phraseology            Instruction                          What Tower Expects                                      Reasons “Maintain/Climb on runway heading cleared for takeoff runway 33”. Depart runway 33 and make no turns until instructed by tower. Most often other traffic is the reason for this restriction. “Cleared for immediate take-off runway 33”. Take-off in one continuous motion ie no stop on the runway. There is no time to allow for a stop on the runway due other traffic on approach. This instruction is always coordinated with pilot prior to being issued. If you cannot comply tell the tower negative unable an immediate departure and tower will provide space when able for a normal departure. “Pull up and go around”. Pilot will overshoot the runway and fly a normal circuit pattern. Varied reasons, traffic on runway, preceding aircraft has not cleared the runway etc. If tower controller wants an early turn for crosswind they will issue it otherwise fly a normal circuit. “Remain clear of control zone”. Pilot will remain well clear of control zone. Don’t continually call tower they will return your call as soon as they are able. The tower controller is too busy with aircraft already in the control zone to allow you to enter. “Proceed directly to the threshold runway 33”. Pilot will abbreviate the base leg and turn directly towards the threshold of the runway. This is done to increase spacing between aircraft. If the pilot cannot comply inform the tower negative unable to proceed direct the threshold. “Turn base/downwind now”. Pilot will commence turn to either base or downwind now as instructed. This is always done to provide increased separation between the aircraft being turned and another aircraft. “Extend downwind tower will call your base”. Pilot will continue flying downwind until instructed to turn base. This is done for many reasons, traffic congestion on final, to facilitate departures, to provide wake turbulence separation etc “Extend downwind 1 mile”. Pilot will continue flying downwind for 1 mile then turn base. Same as above normally the traffic to follow will be included in the instruction to extend. “Turn base keep your pattern square”. All turns will be 90 degrees ie don’t cut the corner. Another technique used to improve traffic flow. “Fly heading 180º turn final from that heading”. (This instruction will be used in this example on right base runway 27 other headings for other runways could also be used.)
