I wasn't even gonna do it but when I saw how fun everyone else's were, I decided I had to have a piece of the action too. How'd I do it? Easy. Went through my old photos found the broken left leg photo from last year, REVERSED the image and now my right leg is broken. So easy. ShenZhen being that booming city across the border where you can get fake anything. From Nike Pigeon Dunks to some blingass Rolexes, LV basketballs and toilet paper holders, you name it they got it. Above is the famous Wiggle chair by one of my favorite architects Frank Gehry. Designed in 1969 and now produced by the company Vittra, it is made entirely of cardboard. It is not only beautiful but comfortable as well. Directed by our good friend John who also helped direct our performance at the Hong Kong Film Awards last year, this film tells you everything you want to know about the UFO phenomena. 【博客】Beefy X-mas!! | 吃牛肉，过圣诞!! (12.27) Merry Xmas to everybody! Sorry a bit late but I had a lot on my plate the past few days as you can see below. I pretty much worked through X-mas working until 2am on the 24th and started work at 6am on the 26th. We did have a X-mas dinner with cast and crew on the 25th and I finally got to have my Kobe beef! It was delicious, however I would not suggest anyone to eat an entire Kobe beef steak. It's a bit on the rich side and is probably the same as drinking a glass of oil. I wasn't feeling too good afterwards and I am probably gonna stay away from it the rest of my stay here but it was damn good!| 祝大家圣诞快乐! 对不起有点迟，我这几天吃了不少，看下面这些照片你就知道了。圣诞期间忙著工作，24日到淩晨2点，26日早上6点又开始。剧组和演员25日一起享用了圣诞大餐，我终於吃到了向往已久的神户牛肉! 相当美味，但我建议你们别吃整块的神户牛排，旁边的肥脂太多，就象在喝油。吃完后我感觉不舒服，可能在剩余的逗留时间内不会再想吃了，但绝对是美味!

【博客】What's Your Color? Find Your True Color! | 你的真我是 I’m not sure really. I’ve had a strange fascination with chickens since college. Their existence often baffles me. Why are they on this planet? Do they exist only to be eaten? Being the lowest mammal in the food chain, I often feel sorry for them, because chickens are the weakest animals on the planet with no dangerous form of attack and absolutely no way to defend themselves. They can’t even fly away because their wings are so out of proportion with their bodies. So in a way this short film is turning the tables around for once. A chickens’ fantasy if you will. A chicken rights film. A chicken kicking my ass.I decided the only person that would get my oddball sense of humor and pull this film off was my good old buddy Jason Tobin. He played David’s assistant in The Heavenly Kings and pulled off the performance of a lifetime as Virgil in Justin Lin’s Better Luck Tomorrow. Jason has aspirations of directing and this was the perfect way to get his feet wet. Having done an awesome job on the music videos for Hardpack and Audiotraffic, I felt it was time to take Jason to the next level.We decided that we wanted to experiment with film this time instead of the regular boring old video. We chose the 8mm format because we just love that grainy 70’s home movie look. The texture you get out of 8mm film simply cannot be reproduced in video. We hired Jam Yau as our dp because of his special 8mm film knowledge. We set up a bunch of different types of rigs, including a mini stedi-cam to make the shots as dynamic as possible. Thanks to Jam we were able to make the most of shooting in 8mm. I definitely want to use this medium again in the future.We pulled off the entire thing in one long 14 hour shoot. Most of the scenes were shot on location in DEF boxing gym, where I work out from time to time. It was quite complex because we had to many setups and lighting conditions. Not to mention the actual fight had supporting actors and a whole bunch of extras that had no idea what the hell we were doing. Much props to Kim Chan for wearing the chicken outfit a dealing with the no air con conditions. We shot till morning then hit the streets to do all the outdoor running scenes. It was tough doing winds sprints after having been up all night and dealing with the summer heat but in the end we pulled it off.Jason handled the post-production entirely himself and even hired Don Cruz, guitar superstar from Audiotraffic, to score the film. In the end, the film exceeded my expectations and really kicked ass. I think chickens around the world will be thanking us for the work we’ve done for them for generations to come!

【博客】Where's the beef? | 牛肉在哪儿？(12.19) Kobe, Japan home of the sake fed beef. I reckon if I was gonna be a beef cow and be slaughtered anyway, a Wagyu Kobe cow would be the best. You get to eat great food, drink sake, get massages and basically live the good life before getting whacked. Been here for two days but haven't eaten it yet. I'm building up for a good climax, well not really, just haven't had time to go out and eat yet. So for now it's shitty ass cold bento boxes.| 神户，以出产用米酒和特别饲料餵养的菜牛而闻名。我在想如果我是头牛，既然免不了被杀，最好能当一头用米酒餵养的和牛，可以吃好饲料、喝米酒、享受按摩，在被杀之前过好日子。但我到了两天，还没吃到名闻遐迩的神户牛肉。我的期待日益达到顶点，但其实只是没机会出门去吃。现在一直在吃极难吃的冷盒饭。

【博客】☆★Hawaii International Film Fest! | 夏威夷国际电影节 Well our trip to The Hawaii International Film Fest is just about over. I am leaving tomorrow but I don't want to go because we are having so much fun! I screened Blood Brothers on Saturday and we screened THK yesterday. Conroy, Andrew, our significant others and most of the alivenotdead posse all came out for this to wind up the whole THK experience. Too bad Terence couldn't make it. We also hooked up with the Finishing The Game crew and it was a blast meeting Justin Lin, Roger Fan and the legend, Dustin Nguyen.I finally got to see their movie tonight and it was awesome! If you get a chance to see it in the theater, you must go because it's too rad to miss. It's weird how THK and FTG are so similar in tone. Great job Justin and to everyone on the FTG team. I admire your passion and energy for the project. Respect! It was so cool to join forces here in Hawaii. Also got a chance to meet our contest winner and alivenotdead superman, Tony. What a nice guy and real supporter of Chinese film and culture. Good luck to you man!My good friends Martin,Wendy and Eric from Giant Robot made it out and we were able to have a couple good meals together. Always nice spending time with them. And I just got home from a late night snack with my old hommie from college and Hawaii local Kevin Chiang. We haven't seen eachother in 12 years so it was nice to reconnect again.So all in all a great trip. 【感受】☆★这个男人有点坏☆★ 刚看了这部片子`~Depp演技一流哈`他那个坏坏的眼生令人回味`情节也蛮不错的`总之算部好片子~不过~感觉德普的片子我都喜欢艾！呵呵~每次他都给我们影迷带了新的惊喜~不像现在很多帅哥 戏路单一~ 长的再帅 千篇一律的看多了也会腻的！而Depp就不一样~〈剪刀手爱德华〉〈加勒比海盗〉〈工厂〉......很多很多`~Depp给我们塑造了各种经典的人物形象~多变的角色 丰富的演绎经历不变的是他那带着点坏坏的微笑~这点也是我喜欢他的原因~今天来到这个吧~看到有这么多人也喜欢Depp~~很开心~真心希望贵吧能越办越好！我会经常来的`~

It's about 1500 prisoners in the Phillipines doing the Michael Jackson Thriller dance. For you young kinds out there, look up the original video. So many questions...why? how? what for?I can't believe they organized so many people to do this. The girl is super funny and the Micael Jackson guy looks like Yao Ming. So awesome! Cracks me up!| 纽约的朋友Aaron给我发来了这个短片，真是太搞笑了!1500名菲律宾囚犯一起跳Michael Jackson的Thriller。年轻人应该去看看原作。很多问题…为什麽？怎麽做到的？目的是什麽？真不敢相信他们组织这麽多人跳这个舞。跳舞的女生非常好玩，扮演Micael Jackson的领舞长得象姚明。令人惊讶!让我捧腹!

【博客】★祖6.23★「Break a Leg! | 脚折了！ | 脚折了！」 I'm not quite sure where this term originated and I really don't understand why you would tell someone that before going out to do a show. Does anyone know the history?OK here is some serious news that I have been holding back on until everything was under control. Remember my blog entry on June 22nd about my skateboard crash? I should have taken that as a sign and stopped right there but it really was so relaxing and fun pushing through the streets. Well on Tueday June 12th I was skateboarding to school early in the morning. My trucks were a bit loose and I had been meaning to fix them for a long time but I didn’t have the proper tool. On a perfectly straight and flat bit of road I got a speed wobble while pushing and lost balance. I put my right foot down to catch myself but my left foot was still on the board and unfortunately it twisted outwards as I fell. Usually when one rolls their ankle, they roll it inwards and this in called inversion. Not much happens, you get a sprain or tear some ligaments. Eversion is when the ankle rolls outwards and this is what I did. When you evert your ankle you not only tear ligaments but it puts an extreme amount of pressure on the fibula (the small bone next to the Tibia) and it breaks. So to make a long story short…I broke my ankle. I knew it the second it happened because like when I injured my knee several years ago, I actually saw it flip outwards. Very nasty.|不是很确定这个术语的来历，不知道为什麼有人可以在演出出发前告诉别人。有人知道来历吗？ok，我有严重的消息要发布，我一直没说，直到事态被控制住。还记得我在6月22日（编者:6月1日）Blog裏写的滑板事故吗？我本该把这个作为警告，不要再滑的，但在街道上有趣、放松的滑行实在太舒服了。6月12日星期二，我大清早的滑著滑板去学校，感觉滑板有点松动，本想修一下可以用更久的，但当时没合适的工具。在一条非常直而平坦的路上，我往前滑时速度很快，滑板摇摆起来，失去了平衡。我把右脚放下来停住滑板，左脚还在上面，很不幸，摔倒时往外扭伤了。一般人崴脚都是往内，叫足内翻，有少部分人会韧带撕裂。足外翻是脚踝往外翻，而我就是这样。足外翻不仅撕裂韧带，而且极大的压迫腓骨（靠近胫骨的小骨头）而折断。长话短说…我的脚踝折了。这是第二次经历，几年前我的膝盖也严重受伤，当时我看到膝盖外翻出来，非常恶心。
