I said,me: waoo, long time no see. what are you doing here?director: I have a CF shooting with Mr C(Korean top star)me:sounds nice. can I see your shooting scene?director:why not? come with me and let's have a drink after I finished the job.This was not my first time to meet Mr C. When I arrived the shooting scene, nearby that small town, I could see that managers of Mr C have worried about something. I asked,me:something happened?director: there is information that lots of fans of Mr C is now waiting for him in the airport nearby. Mr A will leave to Seoul soon after this shooting from that airport. Shooting place and his schedule was a top secret but fans knew it anyhow. So managers now worry how to secure his safety in the airport.So I told to Mr C and his managers,me:well, I have an idea. There is a dirty old car which is mine. I will drive Mr C to airport. Nobody would think that Mr C will come to the airport in that dirty car, right? Fans will not notice him if he rides my car. People around said that's funny and good idea and I drove Mr C to the airport in my small old car.When I arrived the airport I could see about 20 women outside the port, who are apparently waiting for someone. I drove my car to the parking area. When I approach to the parking area, a fan noticed Mr C in my car. She shouted, "Of Mr C is here"Fans were rushing towards my car and I should drive slowly because I felt if I drove fast some fans would get hurt . And then, I should stop my car at the entrance of parking area. About 20 fans gathered around my car. They shouted, touched my car(which made my car more clean than before). I did not know why but I felt as if my car moves up and down. I felt strong fear. Those fans looked me like a Tiranosaurus in the movie Jurasic Park. There is a news that TWSSK will be managed, from now on, by the company named "TSG special purpose production company for cultural business" admitted by Korean government. What is this? haha. Let me explain.coco asked me if TWSSK will be on airred in North America. I will say yes, though I do not know when. WETA will manage(already managed?) TWSSK broadcasting in North America and Europe. If there is a cable channel covering all Europe and North America(I think there is), I think this kind of channel will broadcast TWSSK. This is what was planned from the first start, though I am not sure whether there was a change in plans(I think not, for this matter). This is a reason why media is talking that TWSSK will be on airred in about 90 countries .Now, then, what happens to TWSSK making companies? This kind of business talk will be a little bit complicated, but I will try to explain this easily(you will know my job is a business adviser)1. there is , of course, funds for TWSSK. Investors to this fund have some worry, however. It is possible that Kim Jong Hak invests TWSSK funds for other dramas. Of course, he will not do so but some guys do so. Even if Kim JH invests money raised by TWSSK funds to other drama, nobody can know that. There are more than hundred ways to keep this kind of behavior secret. This is what makes investors worry.2. In the new system admitted for TWSSK by Korean government, this kind of behavior(investing TWSSK funds to other drama) becomes impossible because a third party who are not related at all with TWSSK manage the TWSSK funds.3. Korean government admit that TWSSK is an important Korean cultural content, and will not levy taxes to income earned by TWSSK. This will be a strong support for TWSSK by government.4. Why Kim JH wants this system? Does he need more money for TWSSK? I think the answer is yes as I will explain. What Kim JH declared in this new system are:a. I will not use TWSSK fund for other drama as some people do. I will let a third party manage the funds and I will not even touch the fund.b. TWSSK is a very important cultural content for Korea. So, for cultural development of Korea, Korean government should support this TWSSK under the strict condition that this support is not beneficial to a specific individual.5. Kim JH needs more funds at this stage? Why not? haha. I repeatedly wrote that, when Kim JH makes a drama, he always uses more money than planned to make one perfect scene. Though he said he was changed in this respect, I donot think so. As I wrote before, actual budget for TWSSK is quite larger than press reports.For example, there was a press report that BYJ's guarantee is about 24 hundred million Won in total. This is wrong. BYJ will share the copy right of TWSSK, i.e. he did not receive any money from Kim JH and some copy right is a guarantee for him in this TWSSK(this is what Lee Byong Hun PD of Dae Jang Gum makes clear in a recent interview. Lee BH is a member of Kim JH Production).There is no "enough" funds for Kim JH esp. for this drama. As he said in a recent interview, this is not a bad thing as a director. About 60 - 70 % people see TV at Monday night, so the maximum viewing rate in this time will be about 60%. There is a strong rival to TWSSK in Korea. That is writer Kim Soo Heon's drama started from April in Korea. This is said a life work of writer Kim SH. You would remember that HWRL failed to record a high viewing rate because Kim SH's drama was a rival to this.Kim SH's drama starts from April to beat TWSSK in audience rates. When TWSSK starts, there will be fixed circle of viewers for Kim SH's drama, which will be at least around 25%. So, what remains for TWSSK is about 35 to 45% of rates. As Kim SH's drama starts about 2 months earlier than TWSSK, viewers of this drama will prefer see TWSSK by PC or DVD afterwards. Thinking about writer Kim SH's popularity in Korea, 30% of audience rate will be judged as a great success for TWSSK. I think many people see this from PC afterwards. Simply put, if TWSSK records higher audience rates than Kim SH's drama, then this will be a great success. Though I am so sure that TWSSK is so wonderful drama, 2 months delay in starts will be critical in recording higher audience rates. I think both TWSSK and Kim SH's drama will record about 30% and will show a very hot competition.After TWSSK is started, you will always talk about this drama. When you talk much, you feel hungry and eat a lot. As you will see this drama repeatedly, you will have no time to prepare dinner. Your going out for dinner will increase. You should be careful because this TWSSK could give you more weights. Lots of foods and lots of dinner out, and you will have no time to exercise as you always see BYJ. So, if you think you need some diet, then do it now, after TWSSK it will be very hard for you to do some diet. As your weight increases, also increase TWSSK's audience rate. This is very understandable DISAPPOINTMENT which suggest us something. Further, if you read KOB postings in Korean, you would know there are so many strange(?) postings. Some Korean family begin to think that, actually, there is no administrator in KOB. Some family say, "how there can be no administrator in Korean top star's official HP?" So, the problem is not the absence of English or Chinese Notice, but the absence of administrator in KOB.How this can happen? In my view, this happens after Key East is established. I have a worry about Key East's approach to manage our BYJ.As a business man, I think Key East takes wrong approaches in managing company. Key East must concentrate on BYJ because it is only BYJ-related business that can make Key East successful from now on. I have a strong impression that Key East is struggling to make profits from other business not related to BYJ. Only about 20% of companies whose business is similar to Key East make a profit last year in Korea. These other companies are more experienced compared to Key East. I think, if it is not BYJ, there is no reason why Key East can make a pofit in this business while other more experienced veterans are all lose. Because Yahoo Korea supports Key East? Yes in the long run but no in the short run.As Key East is struggling to make profits in business not related with BYJ(it seems to me lots of BOF members now actually work for Key East not for BYJ), BYJ management becomes neglected in my view. It seems to me that, BOF and Key East members think(this is not based on any information, this is simply my impression), "BYJ will remain so popular even if no one manages him. So let us concentrate on other business" As a company, Key East must concentrate on BYJ-related matter. I imagine BYJ would mention, "I am OK so work for others". Even then, Key East, and of course BOF or IMX, must concentrated on BYJ. This is the right business that they should do as business men.There will appear TWSSK making DVD in Japan and this will make a huge sale. Even convenience stores will sell this DVD(I think this is the first TV drama making DVD sold in convenience stores in Japan). It seems to me AVEX do a good job in sales of this DVD. I hope BOF and Key East do a very nice job for our BYJ. They should do so.
