The youkais were powerful, wicked and unfeeling towards humans and hanyous, being the powerful creatures they were they could easily rule over them, the only use youkais found for them was as slaves or hunt prays.Maybe the most peaceful and serene part of the village was the temple, but a temple is always supposed to be peaceful and serene even though in the worse times and worships the temple was a sacred place were people could turn to forget the hardships in their lives. The temple was huge and it’s construction was beautiful, the main house was big and comfy, a small pond rested in front of the house. Not to far was a shrine, a small but well constructed house that was good enough to allocate the person that lived there. A young girl with medium black hair, brown orbs, peach colored skin, a childish face and pretty was making her way to the shrine with a childish smile on her face and a beautiful flower in her hands.

Coming Clean〈杀桔文〉〈转〉 This is my first oneshot! So it might not be the best...oh well! The summary is: Kikyo has met an injured Sesshoumaru in the forest. Later Sesshoumaru excepts her as one of the gang. As the weeks went by, they slowly begin to fall in love. This is just a sweet oneshot based on the song ‘Coming Clean’ on how Kikyo waits in the rain for Sesshoumaru’s arrival from fighting Inuyasha.Coming CleanKikyo watched the sun set beyond the mountainside. She saw the clouds form over the sky. Kikyo kept a look out for him. The path he once left on was still clear. She blinked feeling something wet and cold drip down on her hand. But, she wasn’t crying. She looked slowly to her hand. ‘Rain.’ she thought and looked to the sky.A loud burst of thunder cracked and light beamed from the sky. The rain drops fell harder and splashed onto the ground. Kikyo looked over to Rin and Jaken as they ran under the trees for shelter. Not Kikyo. She wanted to stay there. Stay and wait. Her face was determined and concerned as she watched for his return. ‘I’ll wait forever...’ she thought.By now her clothes were soaked with the rainwater. Droplets went down her beautiful face. She felt the rain run down her fingertips. The gentle wind breeze was barely felt as she let it push her long raven hair into the wind.The tree tops shook with the wind. The sky was dark as the rain came pouring down as if a huge waterfall was causing it. Kikyo looked to the bright, pale moon. The clouds had it almost covered. Just a dim light tried to fight.Kikyo hugged herself. It was a bit cold. She backed up into the dryer spots under the trees. She shivered a bit as she looked to the pathway again. Kikyo remembered when she found him injured. He refused her help but using her herbs she had healed him half way anyway. And as a reward, he accepted her.Kikyo smiled slightly. ‘Were is he?’ she thought to herself, concerned and worried. She looked to the pathway. No sign of any life. She lowered her eyes. She closed her eyes but opened them at a presence. She turned fast to see the figure that she longed to see. The long silver white hair swaying in the wind. The golden eyes was lowered away from her gaze. His armor was broke and he had some wounds but he didn’t care.She jumped up thinking she was going to cry. Running to him, nearer now. She slowed down as she came by him. “Sesshoumaru...” she purred closing her eyes. She then gazed into his golden gaze and came closer. She wrapped her arms slowly around his waist and their damp bodies pressed together. She then felt the strong grasp that held her as if never to let go. Kikyo smiled for the first in a while.And knew she let the rain fall that night. As she waited for him. For so long...but unlike last time...this one came back to her. Holding her were she belonged.

This is for you, Rubeh-sama! ^-^ It’s a bit of a tear-jerker, you might want to get a few tissues ready. ^^;; Anyway....please enjoy!***It was silent. But only for a moment. The sky above roared, the clouded horizon a deep sludge gray, tinted with black anger, and rumbled in remonstration as it was quite quickly blown over to the flat wasteland. The wind silently hissed a reprimand at the sky, scattering dust from the hard barren earth and fluttering the miko’s raven black hair. Her breath was ragged and heaving, she leaned heavily on her bow, which had practically snapped in half after defending a blow from a large beetle demon’s fist. The majority of her upper-half was covered in both her blood and that of others, and some other vile black liquid, her hair long since ripped from its elastic tie, the silky raven tresses falling in a disarray over her dirt-stained face. A long cut running down her pale cheek was still oozing blood, the crimson pouring down her neck and onto her collar. Her sandals made slow, barely audible crunching noises as they took staggering steps over the hard ground, sometimes stumbling as they tripped over a carcass of some nameless slain youkai, other times halting completely as she stopped and fell to her knees, gasping for much-needed breath. Her delicate hand shot to the ground to support herself, her chocolate brown eyes closed tight as she gripped her side, the wound still fresh and screaming pain. A flash of lightning illuminated the sky above, the white-hot jet of electricity erupting in the air some hundred feet above Kikyou’s head. The deep brown orbs shot open again, the determination renewed, an she once more got up, wobbling somewhat as she suffered a sharp twinge of pain from the gash running up her calf and thigh. Her fist tightened around the splintered wood, small slivers digging into her palm as she gritted her teeth and walked faster. She had to get to him..... she –had- to.........

A Midsummer Night's Dream〈杀桔文〉〈转〉 Melancholy crossed the somberly up-turned lips, ebon strands tracing sharp contours. Unconcerned mahogany oculars dared fly off in oblique direction, compelled not in the least to gaze upon the reflective surface of the lagoon some distance beneath her. Drips of fresh dew echoed within the confines of cochleae, though faint in comparison with the aggravated roar of numerous falls sputtering frothy mouthfuls into the murky depths below. Dainty appendages jockeyed for gripping on the dampened yet scalding rock. Spindly digits uncurled at a lackadaisical pace, palming the slender trunk of an over-hanging tree. Pallid complexion lay untarnished, invitingly soft and admittedly smooth. Voluptuous curves were exhibited, though engulfed completely within the billowing sleeves and torso of a white haori and pleated legs of a hakama, red in color. Glacial winds pushed past in stride, bony frame wantonly swaying to the cadence of nature's rhythmic flow. Uncommon was the chill in the air, when season was taken into consideration, though such thoughts did not linger long before being replaced by new ones. Within the sanctuary of the plush green underbrush crouched a man clad in a baboon integument. Unknown at the time to the object of his observations, he exerted a great effort to remain unnoticed. From beneath the pelage spilled long locks of raven, and his lips could be seen pulling upward into a vicious sneer. His gaze was irate, and all together unpleasant, but as that was his nature, it was not a remarkable thing. His lips parted, as if he were about to speak, but tendrils of a rather wispy substance escaped instead, drifting upwards to the highest meridian. Clandestinely oscillating to the movements of the verdure, yielding no sign of his presence, he awaited the results of his actions. The circumfluous aura seemed to take shape, and with lavish expenditure, an anomalous creature was formed from the zephyr. Steely hisses escaped the bizarre form, and in one fluid motion it propelled itself downwards, now on the same level with the reminiscing miko. "Kikyou..."The young maiden did not even bother to interrupt her own thoughtful reverie. "That would be me," her response was immediate, and brusque at that. Such a far cry from the immaculately elegant tone the miko usually spoke in. Rearing the hulk of its gargantuan physique, twin pinnacles vellicated, thick pillars crashing towards the young vixen. Her movements were sylphlike, and as her sable locks rippled away from her face, her normally phlegmatic expression was filled with anger, not adulation. Sidestepping the crude attack with ease, Kikyou had abundant time to draw her bow and notch an arrow. She wasted no time in firing it, noting with satisfaction as the tip glowed an unearthly white. The miko was more than confident in her abilities, so she was more than a bit surprised as she watched the beast lumber sideways, barely avoiding her attack, but avoiding it nonetheless. After all, she rarely missed her mark. Her orbs narrowed in stormy turbulence. The foul creature seemed to be relying on luck. For while it had avoided her first attack, it had left itself open in mid-stumble. However, before she could reach into her quiver to extract another arrow, a hidden limb darted out and hit her squarely across the stomach. What it lacked in over-all strength it made up for in disguised speed.

Nu Isilmë Ilcalassë.〈杀桔文〉〈转〉 It was a cold night it was one of those nights were you feel that your soul is being slowly consumed by the darkness and that you can feel the cold embrace death wants to give you and that in the only light you can trust is in the light of the pathetic stars in the sky, but for her that wasn't such a horrible night even thought she liked the daylight because of the gentle caress the sun light gave to her skin, but in the night her soft skin also received caresses but these were softer than the caress the sun could offer her, she has been receiving those caresses for almost a year now and in the only time she could receive those caresses that make her body and soul happy was in nighttime.Why only in nighttime? Well she was a miko and people wouldn't think it was proper that a miko powerful as her received the tender caress of a youkai. She was a recognized miko because she was the one that protected and purified the Shikon no Tama, the powerful jewel that could gave amazing powers to the one that used it and she was the one that was chose as her protector, for her it was a real pain because she couldn't live a normal life or fell in love that was till he appeared in her life. He was different from all the other youkais because he wasn't looking for the sacred jewel he had only went to prove her powers, but she didn't expect to fell in love with him.She was walking through the forest heading to their usual meeting place, in every step she gave she did a small pray asking that no one find them especially Inuyasha, she perfectly knew how the hanyou felt towards her but unfortunate she didn't feel the same way towards him she only thought of him as a good friend that deserved to be happy but that happiness wasn't her. She finally get to the beautiful clearing, the moon providing the only light in the place, the wind was softly blowing through the leafs producing a soft melody she really thought that was the most peaceful place in all the forest, that's when her eyes finally rested in his form, his long silver hair glowing with the moonlight and his golden eyes, those deep golden eyes only focused on her.He was leaning against a tree waiting for her to come to their usual meeting place, his golden eyes looked up at the night sky, really he couldn't believe that he has fall for a human just like his father did, him the one that thought humans were inferiors beings that only polluted the world with their fucking presence and that destroyed everything that they feared and did not understand, but the root of his hate towards humans came from the human woman his father mated too and that was the reason that caused his father death and even his mother death when he was very little, that was the beginning of all his hate towards humans but he finally ended hating them when he understood their pathetic nature.Humans were the only creatures that could tell you 'I love you' and later betray you, the only ones that could cause pain to the ones they loved for stupid things, the ones that will also destroy everything they didn't understand, the only creatures that were capable of destroy and use others to get what they wanted without caring about the feelings they claimed to understand and even have, how many times had he seen husbands mistreating their wives? Or children treated as trash. That's why he hated humans, the ones that say they couldn't leave without feelings yet they didn't show them.

Loneliness is all she has ever had in her whole life. Loneliness has been her worst enemy, and her only companion at the same time, along with pain and regret. It didn't matter how hard she struggled against it, for it had already tainted her spirit and become part of her being. Even farther than that…Loneliness had become her legacy.Sunset arrives and the overcast character slowly turns away and stops for a while, her mind being assaulted by undying thoughts. She had so many times tried to get rid of them that she had even lost track of it. It was just a useless and hopeless fight, for those thoughts would always pursue her uneasy heart and take her life to the depths of misery. Most of them despise humans and just want to put an end to their miserable lives…Yes, I am aware of that…then why am I about to answer to the summoning of one of them?'She keeps asking that question to herself until she crosses the castle's gates. However, she does know the answer to that query: she's been revenge thirsty since the day she was brought back from the dead. That has been her only reason for staying alive in this clay body and she knows she won't rest until she makes her assassin pay."Stop, woman!" - a small green youkai stands before her. - "You're not allowed to cross from this point on!"She, however, doesn't listen to the tiny creature and keeps walking forward. The youkai, feeling quite mad that he's been ignored, takes a few fast steps and stands in front of her again:"I said stop, woman! You can't just…ouch!" - he cries as she steps on him and moves on."This is such an insult! I've never been this humiliated by a mere human…"- he says, dusting his clothes. - "Now you're going to have a taste of my staff's po…"

Sesshoumaru/Kikyou -〈解析杀殿与桔梗〉 -Positive- In the first movie Sesshoumaru felt 'rather' "concerned" for Kikyo. And Kikyo and Sesshoumaru both dispise Inuyasha and Naraku...they both will live for a long while...and their personalities suit each other VERY well. I mean...Sess needs someone cold like him and yet who would teach him how to love and pull him from darkness...He also turned his gaze everytime Kikyo's name was mentioned in the one movie. -Negative- Well...Sesshoumaru 'says' he hates humans. And if Inuyasha found out that Kikyo ever went with Sesshoumaru...he'd try and kill Sesshoumaru probably. And really she is dead and would never be able to bare demon pups for Sess...My Opinion : I think this couple makes the most sense really. Cause think about it. I'm a hardcore Inu/Kag fan really. And Kikyo is the older, more mature version of Kagome. Sesshoumaru is the older more mature version of Inuyasha. And with Kikyo out of interference...Inuyasha could finally be with Kagome. And Sesshy finally finds love. But that's just my opinion on things...

//RELATIONS: in related to sesshoumaru 〈介绍杀殿的家属〉 I've always found Sesshoumaru's background to be fascinating, especially when it comes to his relationship with his family, and I thought it was about time I give it some space of its own. The pictures illustrated below may be clicked upon for a larger version.Half-Brother: Sesshoumaru's half-brother is of course none other than the series' main character, Inuyasha. They somewhat resemble each other in appearance, with their long silver hair, amberish golden eyes, and claws- but that's probably as far as their similarities go. Unlike Sesshoumaru's calm and controlled personality, Inuyasha is better described as brash, temperamental, loud, reckless, and even immature. In fact, these characteristics are often what invites Sesshoumaru's criticisms. As is obvious right from the beginning of the series, the two brothers do not get along- rather, they appear to despise each other quite a bit. However, as the series progresses, we sometimes see moments that suggest they may not actually "hate" each other as much as they appear to. Although Sesshoumaru always speak of "killing" Inuyasha, he never really went through with it even when he can easily do so. Curiously, Sesshoumaru has even shown some hints of actually caring about his brother's well-being. He certainly takes note of the danger of Inuyasha's youkai blood and has even advised Kagome to keep him sane with the Tessaiga. Inuyasha's "need" of the Tessaiga to seal his youkai blood may in fact also be a primary reason that Sesshoumaru no longer tries to take the sword away from him. It's a known bit of info that Sesshoumaru looks down upon Inuyasha for being a hanyou (half-demon) as it's something that he never fails to mention. However, I believe that his feelings towards Inuyasha may be more "disappointment" in Inuyasha's choices rather than his contempt of Inuyasha's tainted blood. It seems Sesshoumaru often feel that Inuyasha isn't living up to his full potential, especially when he carries their father's powerful blood- and he instead often express it by criticizing the side of him that contains the human blood. We can also see that when Sesshoumaru fights with Inuyasha, he always seem to push Inuyasha further, saying something along the lines of "Is that all you have to show for..?" sort of thing. Although Sesshoumaru may often seem to be out for Inuyasha's blood, the battles they actually have never seem all that serious. More often than not, the fights will consist of Sesshoumaru taunting Inuyasha and perhaps it may be his indirect way of making Inuyasha become stronger. There have also been evidences that showed Sesshoumaru's relationship with Inuyasha may not be all that bad in the past. This particular piece of revelation came during the episodes that talked about the leopard/cat youkai clan's old grudge with the dog youkai clan. During a flashback revealed by Jaken, we were taken back to a time some 50 years ago when the cat youkai were at war with the dog clan. At the time, Sesshoumaru was leading the side of the dog clan and it seems they needed more man power on their side. Jaken actually went in search of Inuyasha, in hopes that he may assist them in the war being that he's actually also from the dog clan and that he may be able to help with the legendary Tessaiga. When Jaken returned, he informed Sesshoumaru that Inuyasha had been sealed by a miko and would not be able to join them in the war.

Visual Outlook 〈对桔梗的看法〉〈转〉 Kikyou is almost always seen in her miko kimono: an outfit consisting of red hakama,slack-fitting pants resembling a skirt, and a loose top with long, billowy sleeves of a creamy white colour called a hakui. Despite the fact she no longer needs to wear this outfit, she chooses to--most likely to fit in. With her tresses a dark raven, like almost every other woman in the Sengoku Jidai, her hair style includes bangs and the rest is tied together. The same is for Kikyou. Each dancing loch comes to a nicely trimmed end and save for her bangs, is pulled back just below the nape of her neck by a white tie. Lovely hair-do, nay? But there are some times where she decides to not bother much with her old priestess looks and just leaves her fluent, dark strands to blow freely in the wind. And whenever she does, that's when I think she really looks nice, as if sometimes she doesn't really care about her sharp image. Her complexion, to say, is very pale-but what more can you ask of a dead woman? The expression is usually unreadable-failing to mention some cases where she is clearly happy, displeased, emotional,etc.. However- with the shrine maiden there comes a limit of various facial expressions which is not such the case with the other characters. Even reading her eyes to some point won't get you far. And I think that this is why most people don't understand her. Kikyou keeps her feelings hidden well for the most part and doesn't complain much about her vexing situations- thus, you really have to read between the lines to fully comprehend her; an act which many people who do hate her are too carless to do. Kikyou's body does take on the look to be very ill looking and if one didn't know better- they could probably interpret that she is very frail. Maybe she is- always using her arrows to do her talking and the occasional shock, right? Wrong! Even if she was sucked dry of her miko powers, I wouldn't take her very lightly. Her movements are very fluid and graceful and she looks like any other woman, but looks can be very deceitful.

On the hand, Kikyou cannot forget about Inuyasha. Afterall, she is bound to him forever because of what happened fifty years ago. She shows up when InuYasha seems to be introuble, and even though her instincts are not always clear, she in the end doesn't want anyone to harm InuYasha. She believes that his death is left in her hands, no one else's. It may seem like she's saving his life, and she is... for herself. Greedy, it sounds, but it can be seen as an eye for and eye. She died to be with him, and as soon as they exact their revenge on Naraku, she feels the need that he should be satisfied and come to RIP with her for eternity. With Kagome: I don't really think that Kikyou is envious of Kagome's position with InuYasha. She, I think, has accepted it that they are friends... but in the end, Kikyou doesn't really worry herself over what happens to Kagome. Yet there have been times where Kikyou has shown a shred of concern for her reincarnation. Kagome, however, could never live with herself if she stood by and let Kikyou meet her demise. It's a no-win ordeal, really. With Kaede: With Kaede being the younger sibling to Kikyou, she has always looked up to her elder sister as a strong person and a role model. Kaede has and probably always will love her sister. On the other hand, Kikyou has always worked hard to gain her sister's respect, though she felt betrayal when Kaede sided with InuYasha. Kikyou usually comes to her sister when she needs information, and keeps her distance from her past, and Kaede wants her sister to rest peacefully. They still care for one another, but are not as close as they had been. Kaede states that the revived Kikyou is not like her sister once was. With Naraku/Onigumo: Let me start with Onigumo. As Kikyou tended to his paralyzed body, Onigumo learned of her possession of the jewel. It is because of this bastard's desire to have Kikyou and the jewel that led to Kikyou's fate. During some points, she uses this to her advantage and Naraku finds out and stops the problem. Just because Kikyou has alternate and probably far more intelligent strategies of ridding the world of Naraku than InuYasha's group does, this does not mean she is allianced with him. With Sesshoumaru: These two have little to no encounters. The two may have a shred of respect for one another, but there is no friendship between them. I highly doubt these two would ever be lovers, though no offense to those shrines who support them, but it's just my perspective. With the others: The other members of InuYasha's group (sango, miroku, and shippou) do not exactly try to get involved with the love triangle. They do, however, tend to bend toward Kagome's side since she is alive. Kikyou only sees them as his companions--his friends. They are a small matter to one another.

The Final Chapter 〈关於桔梗的未来〉 The end is all too soon, and from what Takahashi has been hinting, Kikyou will play a very significant role in the final chapters. But what could happen? Here are some educated predictions. It is certain that Kikyou will pass on to the next life by the time the manga is finished. Whether she goes alone or in the arms of her once and forever beloved, she shall go. Her life is now ticking away, and even she is unsure how much longer she has. She has used Midoriko's powers to keep her present body a little longer, and possibly for something more. I'm hoping that she goes out with a bang. Despite how much I dearly love Kikyou and wish her happiness, I really hope Inuyasha doesn't part with her because I have come to believe that Kagome will make him just as-- if not more-- happy. But as we know, neither Kikyou nor Kagome are where they "should" be. For all we know, Inuyasha might end up alone in the end if he survives. That brings me to another important point: maybe Kikyou or Kagome will not walk out of the final battle alive. Takahashi is planning to go to chapter 500, something I'm not too excited about. Will the series -ever- end? haha... But when it does, we can see if any of my "theories" were correct.

CHARACTER: all about sesshoumaru 〈关於杀殿的访谈〉〈转〉 If there's one thing I get a lot of, it's emails filled with questions about this site or just Sesshoumaru in general. Now, before you read on- please know that I'm not Rumiko Takahashi, which means I probably don't know half of the things you guys are asking me. That said, I will never be able to answer questions like what's going to happen to Sesshoumaru by the end of the series since it's still ongoing as I type this. The questions addressed below are some of the common ones that I get. However, keep in mind that some really don't have concrete answers as Sesshoumaru's character has always been a mystery. I do attempt to give my answer with my own reasonings though. So in a way, some answers here are really just my theories and guesses. And finally, in an attempt to meet all the repetitive emails I get and my horrendous tendency to not respond to them- I've created an interactive Questions & Answers section for this site. Feel free to ask your questions there or browse around and read other people's questions. 1. Is Sesshoumaru immortal?I don't think Sesshoumaru is "immortal" as in "unkillable" but I think being a youkai, he is able to live for a very long time. Exactly how much longer than humans, we don't really know. Although their life span is a little different from your typical human, it doesn't necessarily mean he can't die. In fact, Sesshoumaru was almost killed by Inuyasha's Kaze no Kizu attack but was instead saved by the Tenseiga. So judging from this, I'd say that even though Sesshoumaru has lived many years, I don't think he's going to live forever. I've wondered before if they can live forever as long as they weren't killed or injured, but I somehow doubt that as well. One point to consider, however, is the fact that he has the Tenseiga in his possession. As we know, the Tenseiga is able to save him from mortal injury and it's also able to bring back the dead. Given this reasoning, it is possible that with the Tenseiga, he can perhaps be immortal. 2. If he's a full dog youkai (demon), why does he look more human than Inuyasha, who's a hanyou (half demon, half human)?My guess is that it is precisely the fact that Sesshoumaru is full youkai that allows him to look the way he does. Being the full dog demon, he's able to transform into a massive dog and then back again to his "human" form. I think in that sense, he retains more of a human look because he can be in a human form. Inuyasha on the other hand, is only half demon and half human- therefore, he's not able to transform into a huge dog like the way Sesshoumaru and his father can. There is only one form for Inuyasha and perhaps that is why he appears as a mixture of both, hence the dog ears. 3. Okay...so what about the stripes and the crescent moon on Sesshoumaru's forehead?Your guess is as good as mine. I've had so many people emailing me making big and positive claims about how the moon definitely represents his status as the rightful Lord ofthe Western Lands. I understand that the idea sounds interesting but I must remind you all that although this theory is often made in fanfictions, it doesn't make it true. Although I'd like to think that the moon may be a significant symbol of some sort, the actual meaning of it has not been touched upon yet. I personally don't think it's a symbol of his status as the Lord of the Western Lands though. My reason? His father was the previous lord and he obviously didn't have the moon symbol on his forehead in the pictures we see of him during flashbacks.

CHARACTER: all about sesshoumaru 〈介绍杀殿的奥义‧必杀技 remember when Sesshoumaru first appeared in the series, I thought he looked like he was going to be a really powerful character. It wasn't much longer before my suspicions were confirmed and soon enough, I was anticipating every single fight Sesshoumaru has engaged in. Right away, you can see the difference in his fighting style especially when compared to Inuyasha and other characters in the series. He often has a way of making all the people around him appear much more inferior than him and that in itself is beautiful satisfaction. As usual, the pictures illustrated below may be clicked on to view a larger version.The Style:When engaged in battle, Sesshoumaru is always cool and calm. His thoughts are collected even during difficulties, and his body moves as though it requires no effort on his part. His maneuvers almost seem to be a part of his instinctual reflex especially since you never see him hesitate or fret about which move to make. Moreover, he rarely shows any emotions while fighting, and he's unfazed even when hit. Reading someone's reactions in a battle can often help a fighter analyze the opponent's moves and in this sense, it makes Sesshoumaru an even more difficult opponent to anticipate. Regardless of what he may be doing or looking at, Sesshoumaru always seems to know what's happening around him. He's extremely observant of his surroundings and reacts very quickly to respond to them- it's as though nothing ever surprises him. In fact, the only time I remember him being distinctly "surprised" during battle was when Inuyasha was taken over by his youkai blood- and even then, he reacted quickly. Because Sesshoumaru always have full control and use of his body, this tends to put him at a far advantage in a battle. His speed is incredible and he dodges attacks so easily it's like second nature to him. He's capable of moving faster than the eye can see and this often takes his enemies by surprise. In one blink of an eye, he can be in an entirely different point of space from a moment ago. Giving his speed even more advantage is his capability to control his body by levitating himself and maneuvering mid-air with the same kind of grace. From mid-air, he can continue to attack while making it difficult for his opponents to reach him. Most of the time that we get to see Sesshoumaru in action is when he fights his half-brother, Inuyasha. Unlike Inuyasha whose brash methods of fighting often consists of just straightforward slashing and attacking with the use of sheer strength and his Tessaiga, Sesshoumaru doesn't bother with all that. Instead, he utilizes his speed to gracefully move out of the attacks (while sometimes looking dispassionate or even bored) until he either feels like fighting back or he sees an opportunity for him to execute an attack that would completely smack his opponent down. The Dokkasou Technique:Dokkasou basically translates as "Toxic Flower Claw." This is probably one of the first techniques we see him use, and throughout the series, we get to see some various forms or versions of it. Like Inuyasha, Sesshoumaru also has claws- but unlike Inuyasha, Sesshoumaru has more use for his claws than just slashing. By using his claws, he can execute strong poisonous attacks on his opponent- which is so powerful that it is capable of melting his target (and pretty much everything else around it). Upon the attack, Sesshoumaru can also often be heard exclaiming "Dokkasou" or announcing that he's about to annihilate the enemy with his Dokkasou.

CHARACTER: all about sesshoumaru 〈介绍杀殿的武器〉〈转〉 This section will contain spoilers for those who have never even heard of the Tenseiga. This sword was not gone into detail until episodes 34-35/manga tankoubon volumes 13-14, when several significant things occurred in relating to Sesshoumaru. Again, the pictures illustrated below may be clicked on in order to reveal a larger version. Also, if you're a fan of the Tenseiga- then you should definitely join the official fanlisting, which is also a part of The Killing Perfection. :)The Tenseiga: Now, you may have wondered how come Inuyasha gets a great sword from his father while Sesshoumaru inherits nothing...but ah, it's not nothing! Sesshoumaru did indeed inherit quite a godly sword also created from one of his father's fangs by Toutousai. However, we quickly realize that he refuses to use it even though he carries it with him at all times. Tenseiga is roughly translated as "Heavenly Life Fang" and it too has some amazing powers residing within the blade. Well, the name is quite obvious as to what the sword is used for isn't it? Yep..to heal and give life! According to Toutousai, the Tenseiga can restore life if used by someone who's mastered it. While the Tessaiga has the capability of killing 100 youkai with one swing, the Tenseiga can be used to restore 100 lives with one swing by someone who has the heart to truly cherish others. The sword is like an equal to the Tessaiga, brothers that are two sides of the same coin...it is neither superior nor inferior so it's not as though his father gave him a lesser sword by any means. However, a sword that can only be used to heal and not kill, Sesshoumaru could only stare at it with distaste. Who could Sesshoumaru possibly want to heal? The idea is almost funny when you think about the irony of the situation. The sword does eventually prove to be of some use to Sesshoumaru though. During one of his battles with Inuyasha, the Tenseiga emanated a light that was able to keep Sesshoumaru from dying when Inuyasha managed to truly unleash the Kaze no Kizu attack on him. In the pictures below, you can see how the Tenseiga glowed around Sesshoumaru at the moment when he was directly hit by the Tessaiga's powerful attack. As said by Toutousai, the fact that the Tenseiga had saved Sesshoumaru meant that the sword had chosen him as its true master. It is quite interesting when you think about how Sesshoumaru would be unable to kill his brother with the Tenseiga while Inuyasha himself is also not able to use the Tessaiga to kill Sesshoumaru. Apparently, the brother swords cannot go against each other. Was that the intention of their late father, who might've known that his two sons would be fighting each other? It's a mystery that we can only speculate but not confirm. So what about that whole deal regarding the fact that the potential of Tenseiga can only be used by someone who has the true heart to heal? On top of that, the reviving sword had chosen Sesshoumaru as its true master? I mean the Sesshoumaru that we know is of someone who is cold-hearted and does not seem to care about who he kills much less about healing anyone. In that sense, the Tenseiga works like a double-edged sword for him. Is he even able to use the abilities of the sword with a heart like his? And even if he could, would he even want to? If he did...would that mean that he's *gasp* kind-hearted and not as badass as we or even he, himself, think? It is indeed a sword that would bring some surprises into his life.

CHARACTER: all about sesshoumaru 〈介绍杀殿的原形〉〈转〉 If you're like me and had started watching the anime, Inuyasha, without knowing what it was about or seen any previews then your reaction might've been the same as mine when you first saw Sesshoumaru transform. Keep in mind that when I first saw the anime, there were very very little Inuyasha sites (if any) and just about no Sesshoumaru related sites at all- so I went into it completely oblivious. And the humongous dog deal basically made me go "Whoa..." ^_^; Here, I've included some info on his transformation into his true youkai form- both basic and in depth. The pictures illustrated may be clicked on to view a larger version.Sesshoumaru's True Youkai Form: Type: A huge huge huge dog. And no, in case you haven't figured it out yet...he's not a wolf. I've heard people say that he's a wolf before- I think that threw me off more than the transformation itself. Got me all confused because I thought they were talking about Kouga. Imagine my confusion when they were saying that the wolf saved Rin and I was all thinking..."But it was Kouga who indirectly killed Rin with his wolves..what the hell are these people talking about??" XD Appearance: In his dog form, he retains the prussian blue crescent moon on his forehead while the stripes on his cheeks changes slightly to merge and "wrap" around the edge of his jaw. His eyes becomes completely red and his ears naturally turns into flappy dog ears. :) His fur is white just like his hair though there are areas that look a bit gray. Several parts of his fur are quite unruly, making them look like white flames- he has a patch of it around each of his paws which is a nice touch as it makes his legs appear more balanced in terms of size. Taking a closer look at his dog form, you'll notice that there's actually also an extra piece of the "white flames" fur that wraps around his right shoulder and then around his body. This is quite interesting, especially since he also has the infamous boa-look-alike piece of fur around his right shoulder whilst in his human form. This then lends theory to the idea that these two pieces of fur are actually the same one. If this is correct, then that "mysterious furry object" isn't a tail, a boa, nor armpit hair but instead a part of his dog form that stays behind after his transformation. Whether there's a specific purpose in this piece of fur or not isn't known either. Overall, I'd say he looks pretty intimidating in his true form. :) Size: Gigantic. :D After he transforms, everyone else is basically only about the size of his paws. You can see a picture of the comparison down below on the right hand side. Even though he's already very big, he's actually probably still only a puppy. His late father's dog form was much much larger- as was shown on some memory flashback scenes and his massive tomb/bones. This then further confirms the theory that Sesshoumaru is not yet a fully grown youkai. Method of Transformation: Sesshoumaru is able to transform at his own free will as well as stay in control of his true youkai form and mind. The first and only time that he's ever fully transformed seemed to come at ease- it didn't look as though he needed any special preparation, etc. I said "fully transformed" just now because there are times in the later episodes where he was beginning the process of transformation but then stopped himself for one reason or the other. From what I've noticed, the times that he wants to transform usually comes when he's angry or having difficulty in beating the opponent with his human form- an exception being the battle between his true form and Inuyasha. In that case, he had apparently transformed for the sake of testing how powerful Inuyasha would be with the Tessaiga.

CHARACTER: all about sesshoumaru 〈杀殿的资料〉〈转〉 Name: Sesshoumaru (that's all we know- there's no known last name.) Kanji: 杀生丸 Also Known As: "Fluffy" by fans. The nickname was given by fans because of the furry thing that's slung over his shoulder...don't know when it came about but it caught on pretty fast. I've heard of that name as early as over a year before I started this site. He's also been referred to as "The Youkai Lord," "The Youkai Prince," and "The Great Demon Lord of the West." Gender: Male, although at first glance, he's been mistaken as a female by quite a few. -_-;; Race: Full Youkai (Demon), specifically a dog youkai Age: Unknown, but he's about...old. By human standards, that is. We know he's older than Inuyasha who was imprisoned for 50 years and Inuyasha must've been AT LEAST 15-18 at that time, so...according to my estimation, that makes Sesshoumaru's current age 70 at the very youngest. In the much later episodes, we also see shots of him during the time before Inuyasha's 50 years sealing incident, and he looked pretty much the same so I'm going to say he's actually much older than 70. Youkai aging seems to be different from humans so for all we know, he could be hundreds and hundreds of years old. In either case, I reckon he's considered young for a youkai. Birthplace: Unknown. However, he has been mentioned to be the Lord of the Western Lands...so I can only guess that he's from the west. :p There were very few talks about him as a child- but a later episode had shown a younger Sesshoumaru when he was by his father's side- and since his father was said to have ruled the Western Lands, it helps add to the assumption that he's from the west. Identity: In terms of "character role", he is mainly known as Inuyasha's older brother in the anime and manga. As a general identity, he's known as the Lord of the Western Lands and one of the most powerful youkai. Naraku once referred to his power as something similar to the perfect youkai. Since Inuyasha is technically the main character, Sesshoumaru can also be viewed as one of the enemies because the two brothers don't get along together at all. In fact, he can often be seen attempting to kill Inuyasha. Now, whether that warrants him as a "bad" guy or not remains to be controversial among viewers. Personality: At first glance, he appears to be cold, calm, collected, and confident to the point of arrogance. He has also been mentioned by Jaken as someone who's very proud and no matter what it may look like on the outside, he'd actually be seething inside if he were to ever be made a fool of. His character is actually quite a mystery as you're never sure of what to expect from him. Somewhat of a loner, he keeps his thoughts to himself and he only talks when he sees a purpose in doing so. In that sense, you never see him talk just for the sake of chatting, even with his own companions. When he does talk, however, he gets right to the point. His words can also be pretty blunt with insults and his tone often condenscending, most notable when speaking to Inuyasha. [转帖]《犬夜叉》重点人物知性大比拼！！！《犬夜叉》虽然是部热血打斗的少年漫画，但其中知性很高的人物也是不少的，认真回忆思考一下，就可以发现这些知识分子谁是诸葛亮，谁是司马懿……NO.1。奈落这个受万人唾弃的阴谋家，相信没人会反对他那些肮脏的智慧是无人能敌的吧！从他陷害桔梗和犬夜叉开始，到陷害弥勒的祖父、珊瑚全族，到随后的二度逃跑，以至后来的白灵山变身，甚至更后来。他一直都是个喜欢耍阴险，爱利用别人，总是躲在黑暗的最后方的大奸角。说实话，奈落可以算这种热血打斗少年漫画里最弱的最终BOSS了，要背景，不够硬，要力量，也有限。他能够到至今还这么嚣张，全靠他那些卑鄙的智慧。所以不管私怎么讨厌他，不管他是怎样一个知性败类，他首屈一指的智慧还是该肯定的。NO.2。桔梗虽然桔梗她也上过奈落不少当，但奈落也吃过桔梗不少亏。可以说桔梗一直充当着坏奈落好事的“正方”军事级人物。首先想想，在没有桔梗的那段日子（白灵山之战以后），犬夜叉一行绝对是被奈落众们牵着鼻子在耍，直到那破天荒的一箭，才让奈落再度有了顾及感，也让犬夜叉一行看到了新的希望。再想想奈落是怎么对付桔梗吧，不是想法阻止桔梗吸收灵魂，就是设计破坏桔梗这个不经用的傀儡身体，他从来也没有敢直接向桔梗挑战，不只是会害怕她的灵力，也害怕桔梗自己的智慧和知识。看到后来桔梗招出了侍神，和用参天树引耗子等等手法，就知道桔梗还一直是身藏不露中。所以如果说奈落是司马懿，那桔梗就是诸葛亮……（不对，好象反了……不对，好象是这样…………不管了，糊涂了……）NO.3。杀生丸杀杀他总是一脸冷酷，不禁让人很自然的感到他似乎洞察了一切。可不是，白灵山一战最先看穿奈落阴谋的就是杀生丸SA MA是也。再加上他也认识不少知识分子（还记得那个树精吧），所以他自己的知识也是不会少的。而且，在开始追踪奈落之旅的途中，他也是唯一没有上当受骗的角色了。虽然他自己没出谋划策过，但这份洞穿一切的目光，不得不让我们为之折服，承认他是个高知性的角色。NO.4。白童子这家伙由于和奈落相通，所以就不需要对他的阴谋诡计诸多描述了。反正，从他出现开始，他就和奈落一样在盘算着又去阴某人了。不过在和阿蓖一起袭击“圣人”村庄时，因自己的得意忘形而失败，却显出他似乎不及奈落谨慎。所以以他的智慧，只把他排在这个位子了。NO.5。刀刀斋一直感觉他就象犬夜叉的导师一样，代替叉叉的父亲来教育他。回想每一次叉叉变强都是他指导的效果。再加上他是个老妖怪，可以推断他的知识是很多的。看看现在叉叉的红铁碎牙都破不了奈落的结界，私以为说不准以后叉叉还会在刀刀斋那里知道什么新的最强奥仪之类。毕竟主角不能停滞不前的（连最终BOSS都升级，主角怎能不练级呢）。所以总感觉刀刀斋也应该是身藏不露的高人（虽然很难看出来）。NO.6。弥勒他可以说是犬夜叉一行里最有智慧的角色，就算不是军师级别，也算得上个参谋了。回想叉叉一行的旅途，不论是斩妖服魔，还是和奈落周旋，弥勒的智慧都出了不少力。小到骗吃骗喝、骗住骗女（……汗），再到识穿各种妖魔鬼怪的本体、意图，出谋划策将之消灭，甚至为破坏奈落的计划也出了不少力。如果叉叉一行没有了弥勒，相信会很容易被群妖和奈落消灭的。所以在此不得不感叹一下这位“和魂之智”。NO.7。炼骨他也是个阴谋家，虽然不及奈落。但他在七人队里表现出的阴险狡猾也是让人生畏的。如果他不是由于自身能力太弱，蛮骨又受奈落摆布。那炼骨的野心甚至很可能将奈落倒打一钉耙。从最先乔装僧人设计叉叉一行，逐渐洞察奈落的阴谋，到他精心改造银骨，企图私吞四魂碎片。他都表现出一个野心家的应有的奸险智慧和丰富知识。可惜时运不即，让他落到一个更阴险狡诈的奈落手里，面对一个“文盲”的大哥，最终也郁郁而终。试想如果他是那个战国时代某个君主，那他将会很有作为的。NO.8。冥加爷爷/七宝所谓大智若愚，恐怕讲的就是这两个人（不对，是妖）。前者似乎每次都是侥幸说出了问题关键，但就因为这个侥幸，才多次让犬夜叉幸免于难。不过至于是不是他真的是侥幸，那就不得而知了（毕竟这些侥幸也太多了）。但至少可以肯定冥加爷爷的知识还是很丰富的。后者不同，平日除了活跃气氛，就只有载人逃跑的份。但也有很多次，七宝是叉叉一行中最先察觉情况异样的角色（比如“深爱杀生丸的女子”一话），而且他也经常很及时在和犬夜叉分散中向叉叉发出救援的角色（他的求救信号还真可爱，蘑菇，松果等，还在哭泣……）。如果没有七宝，戈薇恐怕有好几次都遇难了。这种不知道算是求生本能还是应变能力强，总之七宝至少是个很机智的角色。NO.9。神乐她是一直被奈落束缚的向往自由的风，因此，为了自由，她可以说是不留余力。她首先看着犬夜叉，观察他是否能战胜奈落。但她发现叉叉的单纯使得他很难打败阴险的奈落，于是她发现的她的救星——杀生丸。并且多次试图与其连手。这里不得不肯定她很会观察人——她很快的分析出了犬夜叉一行、杀生丸一行、奈落一行不同人物的特性，知道哪里该装忠心，哪里该装钦佩，哪里又该莫不做声。这样一个为了自己梦想不断奋斗的神乐，如果没有一定的智慧和机智，是很难成功的。只可惜她也遇到了更有城府的奈落，所以短期里她是不能自由了。NO.10。犬夜叉之所以在知性比拼上还排出犬夜叉的名字，大概就是因为他的悟性吧（毕竟悟性也是知性的一种表现）。记得龙骨精一战吧，叉叉自己领略了暴流破，让刀刀斋都另眼相看。可见平日看上去老被耍（还记得戈薇把他当狗耍，呵呵，好可爱……）的犬夜叉，其悟性还满高的。私认为以后他很可能还会学个什么终极必杀，最后就把奈落给喀嚓了……HOHO~ ^o^

看《一直对桔梗产生不了好感》回复有感〈是桔迷就进来〉〈转〉犬薇VS犬桔不管走到哪个论坛总是看到大家为了戈薇和桔梗争吵个不停嘿嘿首先声明本人发的这个贴子并不是要给大家又一个产生争执的话题我是抱一颗平常心写写而已希望大家也抱一颗平常心来看看而已SO在我看来在犬夜叉的心中戈薇和桔梗的地位应该没有什么谁轻谁重谁真谁假这样的比较完全是两种不同的感情戈薇是一个直爽可爱的女孩子还时不时出点小状况超级搞笑的说哈哈看这个故事我经常会被她的善良真诚所打动她的性格象阳光一样温暖照耀着所有人不过她对犬夜叉实在有点那个野蛮女友的感觉她可以连续对狗狗大喝超过10声的“坐下” 汗在爱情上她是那么主动而坚强当她确定自己对犬夜叉的感情后立刻在第一时间向他表白 “我只想和你在一起让我留在你的身边”实在是够勇敢够坦诚不愧是生活在现代社会的女孩子知道该为自己的幸福去争取她对犬夜叉和桔梗在一起的嫉妒其实才是最真实的感觉爱情本来就是自私的“因为我喜欢”与她截然不同的桔梗是一个凄美而伤感的悲剧性角色在她生前因守护四魂之玉而担负着那样沉重的压力以及遭遇被深爱的人背叛的痛苦而含恨死去复活后的她需要多大勇气来面对呢我喜欢桔梗因为她算得上是一个刻画得比较完美的人物了只可惜在对待爱情的态度她缺少了象戈薇那样的勇气她显得矜持和内敛用椿对她的评价 “高贵的样子吧”但是她对犬夜叉的爱一定不会比戈薇少吧在她以为被犬夜叉欺骗而亲手封印了他之后没有利用四魂之玉的力量活下来而是选择了追随着犬夜叉而去生死相随就连戈薇自己也说过桔梗可以为犬夜叉去死这一点就是她做不到的。写到这里又会有人说桔梗曾经想要伤害戈薇可是如果你记性好的话应该知道戈薇也曾经因为嫉妒桔梗而希望桔不要存在于这个世界上这些不都是每个人人性之中都会存在的阴暗面吗桔梗可以大方的承认“想杀死那个女人的心不是假的”而戈薇却只是逃避开了犬夜叉和戈薇在一起的时候吵吵闹闹的大家都开开心心根本就是一个长不大的孩子他们两人之间是有点两小无猜式的那种纯纯的爱情而只有当犬夜叉和桔梗在一起的时候他才会变得象个男人一个真正成熟的男人“我没有一天不再想你”“如果说我的生命是你的那么你的生命也是我的”“只有我才有权利保护你”“如果桔梗愿意，我愿意陪她一起下地狱”我常常在假设一个很可笑的事如果故事中桔梗复活后不是孤独一人而是一直和他们几人在一起的话犬夜叉会不会喜欢上戈薇呢毋庸置疑他对桔梗的爱情（看到很多戈薇的小扇子自欺欺人的大声强调“狗狗喜欢的是戈薇不是桔梗”真是……受不了简直就是睁着眼睛说瞎话嘛）只是所谓爱情难道不应该是曾经沧海除却巫山的吗那么后来犬夜叉对戈薇的喜欢倒真是让人……是因为逐渐被戈薇的真诚和热情所感动还是因为她是桔梗的转世而潜意识里把她当做了桔梗的替身不过无论是怎么样我想桔梗心里已经不会再介意了她已经接受了自己是个没有未来的死人的事实“命运的红线一旦断了就无法再接上”她已经接受了戈薇和犬夜叉相爱的事实她已经没有怨恨没有嫉妒已经不再是刚刚被复活时充满仇恨和愤怒的怨灵了“恋爱的事也罢怨恨的事也罢”都已与她无关了吧一个人性已经得到升华的纯洁高贵的巫女——桔梗只是每当故乡到了樱花飘落的季节孤独的桔梗啊那种心痛的感觉是不是又一次让你迷惘
